Well, guess you're being fed to the dogs.

Always compliment the fade first, then drop to your knees and say hello.

I see it with both eyes closed. It's your brain transposing it onto your "vision,", not your eyes.

You would know. I can't remember names, like my parents - people I know well. If I try to write, I don't write words. Sometime when you first start if, take notes every few minutes and watch your thinking degrade.

Were at that time of year where, around 4pm, the Sun is right on the spot that causes glare to drivers.
Going down 495S, the sun is right in your face the whole time.

Do people know about polarized sun glasses and sun visor?
It sure feels like they don't, because all of the traffic is people slowing down due to glare, which I have no issues with because....I have sun glasses and a sun visor.

Idk, my gripe of the day.
Today is gym day so I take backroads and dont have to deal with these people anyway.

Speaking of ****ty vision.
Ive had situations where I go to bed, lights off, close my eyes, and I see what looks like someone flashing a bright light at me. Only when my eyes are closed.
Open eyes, nothing. Close eyes, flashlight in my eyes.

Is my brain damaged?

Sunglasses can only do so much when you've got the sun directly in your face

Weird. I get that same thing. Like someone just took a picture with flash.

Because yeah, the other half isn't coming, there's not job for her career track, so it's 12 months apart for us to then be back together at another very unappealing duty station.

The end of next month is also another kicker I'll sneak you some in the mail for a year

Gripe: people who run their high beams with 3 of 4 elements lit instead of replacing the burnt out low beam bulb.

Can't figure out why my dome light isn't working. It's not the bulb and it randomly turned on once but hasn't again. Probably has something to do with this aftermarket stereo or I need to replace the whole assembly. So far that and the fact it idles a little low is all I've found wrong. I'm not sure if the idle is something that needs attention or if it's just lower than my last car. The tires had like 24psi in them too since it's been sitting in the cold for awhile. It's amazing how much difference 8psi makes in ride quality.

Not in the budget.

Check the bulb anyway. If it's incandescent it normally just dies but can take its sweet dramatic time if it wants. The contacts may be corroding or bad for some reason. If everything else is working as expected the plunger switches should be fine. If it's an older car it still might be useful just to verify the contacts, clean them, shoot so grease on them and not think about it ever again. Move the switch for 'on/off/door' back and forth a bit... might have corrosion on that too. If that helps shoot some grease in there too after a cleaning.

Last week I've been feeling lousy. Not bad enough to stay home (no fever or cough), just achy and nauseous.

This morning I notice my lower back is really starting to hurt. Start thinking on it, and I'm pretty sure I've got a kidney stone. I'm still urinating normally with no odd color or cloudiness though. So I think it's between my kidney and bladder right now.

End of the month needs to hurry up and get here so my insurance kicks in and I don't need to invoke Cobra.

The Cobra thing screwed me big time.
MA law says divorce is final 90 after court date.
Stupid VA dumb **** says we cut you off 60 after court date.
I was 30 days with no insurance, and had to pay penalty and bills off my pocket.

I really hope I don't need to take Cobra. It will be almost 4 grand in premiums since I haven't had insurance for the past 5 months.

It'll be cheaper than surgery though (if it comes to that point...)

You only have 60 days to elect COBRA once you lose coverage? That was the federal law.

How would you get COBRA after 5 months? Is this an Obamacare thing?

As far as I know, you've always been able to enact Cobra for up to 18 months past your employment end.

But hardly anybody knows it.

Everything that I'm seeing says 60 days from the postmark on the eligibility notice.

No.

Employer has 30 days to notify the plan.

Plan has 14 days from that to notify you on how to elect COBRA

You have 60 days from the the date you receive the COBRA notice from the plan or the date you lose coverage, whichever is later.

If you elect coverage, you have to make premium payments retro to the date you lost coverage.

The DURATION of COBRA coverage is 18 months, but it is 36 for divorce or legal separation.

Actually from the receipt of the notice by the employee.
