I like this!! it's available in North America in 2013 and in Europe now, I just hope they bring the Turbo Deisel option to Canada.

No, probably not, they don't have the Forester Diesel so why bring that in Diesel...

We also had the opportunity to pilot an XV with Subaru's 2.0-liter turbocharged diesel boxer four-cylinder with 148 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque mated to a six-speed manual gearbox.
sigh...

Supposedly the diesel is a real gem. I like it but trunk space doesn't look too great unless you flip the back seats down. I suppose a nice Thule roof rack could solve that issue .

It looks like a solid competitor to Mazda's CX-5 .. especially the turbo diesel.

Mazda claims that their diesel meets all NA requirements without using without NOX aftertreatment and they will be bringing that engine to us in 2013.

Given that, I hope that Subaru will feel the pressure and bring their turbo diesels over as well.

We can hope, right?

It is like the ugly version of when Volvo XC60 meets a Toyota Matrix. They really need to rework the backend.

Drove it today at the runway!

I guess everyone has read the reviews already but I'd just like to share some small things I noticed between the Standard XV version and the Forester:

- Seats feel more supportive. No leather option for both though.
- Standard version has a factory tint for the rear windows already, ala-USDM versions. Premium version wala daw according to rep.
- Nice factory foglight beneath the rear bumper just like the GVF STI
- No push button rear seat collapse like the Forester
- Paddle shifters are nice.
- No hood support hydraulics
- Ride definitely more firm than the Forester
- Manual seat adjustments for both Standard and Premium variants.

Thats mostly because it -is- a lifted impreza with different bumpers/grille.

More ground clearance than a grand cherokee...
