Hi all, I have another request, this time, for a friend of mine. He graduated from the University of Vermont with a degree in green sustainability (LEED ect.). Does anyone know of or better yet; have something for him? He is located in Bethesda, Maryland, but he has access to travel.

Thanks Nasioc.

My company is looking for Smart and Happy .Net or Java developers. We have offices in DC and Richmond. Remote is a possibility but most likely only if you have a reasonable amount of experience. PM me if you or someone you know is interested. Our company is pretty sweet. Top rankings in DC for fastest growing and best places to work. I got lucky with this job coming out of college 1.5 years ago

VoIP Administrator / Network Engineer looking for new opportunities in the MD/NoVA area. I am currently a gov't civilian for a ~12,000 person DoD agency with a clearance level (just renewed) looking for something to advance my career and this place isn't getting me to where i want to be. I have experience in multitudes of systems including Call Manager/uc/jabber/uccx, cisco router/switching/asa/vpn/ucs, vmware, bluecoat, sidewinder/mcafee firewalls, unix/windows-based desktop & server environments to name a few. I would list other DoD-specific terminology but that information is too sensitive to be posting out in the open.

I work on existing/operational systems, implementing new systems & engineering future solutions as well as security compliance / vulnerabilities / IA as it pertains to DoD. (yes they have me doing everything, we are massively understaffed). Have been involved in contract awards in the past but only as an advisor/SME but have some inside knowledge on how that process goes which may be of use to some smaller private contractors.

I also have great technical writing skills such as documenting, writing procedures/SOP/policy, training guides, processes, training video tutorials and a great attention to detail. Oh and I'm also a freelance car mechanic on the weekends with engine and transmission rebuilding, welding, electrical, bodywork/paintwork experience but i doubt those skills would be useful for most positions hehe.

Fell free to PM me if you have any openings for anything that may fit with my experiences.

Good morning,

I am coming out of retirement and also bringing this thread out of retirement. I need the MAIC's help big time.

We have positions open in my company that need to be filled immediately. Both are counter positions in an HVAC store. One location is in Linthicum (near the airport) and the other is in Beltsville.

This is a fantastic company with great benefits, full health insurance starts immediately, 7:30AM-4:30PM Mon-Fri hours with no weekends or nights, yearly raises, and an opportunity for advancement/promotion inside of 1 year. I am hoping to train someone to replace me as manager so I can relocate to an even larger store.

The job is 1/3 customer service (phone calls and emails for parts lookup), 1/3 technical (parts lookup, equipment matching, lots of Excel/SAP work), and 1/3 warehouse (receiving, posting, shipping, loading, fork lift, etc.) in fully air conditioned/heated warehouses.

Pay is above average ($20-24/hr to start) and HVAC experience is NOT required. I'd prefer someone with a programming, technical, engineering, accounting, or serving/bartending background.

Please email me at [email protected] with questions.

Here is the job posting (it says Beltsville but the position is the same in both Beltsville and Linthicum):
