Fender Flare Install - Page 4

woke up early, didn't check here so i didn't take pics..but you wouldn't have really seen anything. I went and purposely hit a big bump, still have a very slight rub now. It'd really have to slam hard to rub, normal everyday driving ill be fine for a while, but i still need to do more. heres a couple REALLY crappy cell pics.

negative as in camber? Alignment specs are..

Front -1.2
Rear -2.2
Toe 0 all around.

Im still on stock rear lower control arms, so don't have any adjustability there.

so more fender work to be cut out so that it hides it along the fender flare more?

if you get a chance and take pics of the cut out into the fender flare. did he smooth it out and repaint it before installing the flares?

No, more to cut out so it doesn't rub. Yes we treated the metal so it doesn't rust.

For the hatchback owners wanting flares, HT Autos response when asked what needs to be modified for hatch fitment said the sedan rear bumper is deeper requiring trimming of the flare.

To me that sounds like and easy thing to do since the flares are plastic. Just sand down the edge until it's flush.

just thought I'd post this if anyone didn't see.

not really, used some plasti dip on the flares today. so its now a nice smooth satin black and the bolts are black to. looks way better!

Thanks, it's changed a bit since then. Painted flares. Went 1" wider on the wheels and full aeroflowdynamics splitter kit.

Sounds like a problem. In cases like this I usually recommend people PM Abnormal.

New to the topic. Pulled the trigger late on the fender flares. JUST found out this month that Karlton discontinued his flares. How do you like the HT brand?

BTW..just moved from wood bridge to ashburn.
