Yeah, even if this one makes a few hp less than the other, more popular ones on the market.. It still is a hell of a deal at ~$350... compared to what, $600-$900 for the top name brands?

Think I fixed my boost leak. Still running slightly rich and having wacky Af learning but I think that's because the car needs to be tuned. I'm boosting normal again now though. Before it wouldn't boost past 5psi, and even that it would barely make. I'm going to see how it does today, and try to get some logs. If all goes well I'll go ahead and get the care tuned and do some pulls.

EDIT: did the spray bottle boost leak method and found out there is air leaking by the driver's side intercooler hose. I'm going to buy t bolt clamps today and re install it. That should be the last leak!

Boost leaks suck. Hopefully you get it sorted out. I can agree, the stock clamps suck, I overtightened the driver's side (TB) hose clamp and damaged it, luckily I had an even better one sitting around what will hold. I need to do the whole "Breeze" clamp upgrade before too long.

Same here I'm guessing. It just spins now and doesn't actually tighten or anything. Getting the t bolt clamps on tomorrow and hopefully this fixes it!

I'm still waiting for a tune revision for the Depo Racing TMIC. With the holidays my tuner has been overwhelmed with revisions.

I did however get the stock engine cover back on and the temps seem to be about 8-10 degrees cooler with it installed. Instead of ~20 deg Delta, I'm now seeing ~12-10 deg Delta on the Manifold Temps. That is pretty solid, I'd say.

That's good to hear man. I'll likely put my engine cover on too. I have been having absolutely zero luck finding this last leak. I've looked at everything. I'm going to try going through everything from the turbo up today one more time, and then I'll just take it to TIC and have them do a boost leak check if I still don't have any luck.

Sorry if you mentioned it already but who's your tuner? How much Did you have to modify the stock cover to get it back on? Crazy how much the cover makes a difference. Did you send your tuner logs with the cover on or off? Looking promising. Can't wait to see the final results

My tuner is Brian Tyson, owner of JST Performance here in GA. He is a Cobb Pro-Tuner and has owned several WRX/STI's, including a 2015 WRX but he is mostly known for his Ford Focus ST and Fiesta ST tuning and racing. He had previously tuned my 2014 Focus ST.

You can find him on FB mostly, but the website link is below:

https://jst-performance.com/collecti...-custom-tuning

As for the stock engine cover/TMIC shroud, it's a bit of a ghetto job with just the lower, pulley cover area, attached then the top is kinda just sitting there but when the hood is closed, it sandwiches it enough to not move.. as far as I can tell.

I sent Brian logs before the cover was reinstalled. I just received the first revision for the Depo Racing TMIC today and flashed it, but I haven't driven it yet.. I'm still at work. He said he was just pretty much adding a little more boost for the most part. I also asked him to tell me how my full tune is looking, and he said everything looks good, we are at revision 5 now when I threw the TMIC in there lol.

Mods: Depo Racing TMIC
PRL TGV and EGR deletes
Invidia N1 Dual Cat-back
Boomba Racing BPV
Grimmspeed 3 port EBCS
Cobb AP v3 on 93 oct
JST custom street tune

Just following up to see how its holding up guys.

I am debating on picking it up too. My stock engine cover may not fit with the Killer B pulley cover I have. We shall see though. Having the stock engine cover does help with the airflow too, coming from the hood scoop.

Sorry everything has been drawn out for me. I had law school finals and have been dealing with a bunch of **** during my break. However, mine has been doing great so far! No complaints. I'm just waiting on my down pipe to get delivered this week and then she will be getting tuned Friday of Saturday depending on when it arrives! I'll have data shortly there after. My parts include the whole Depo Racing line, and a Q300 catback exhaust.

Got my down pipe and it looks and feels great! I'll post pictures today or tomorrow, but it definitely is a quality product for the price. The welds are solid, the pipe is thick, finish is nice, and it feels like it will hold up as long as any of the other pipes. Trying to find a place to do the install TIC went up in price. They did my brothers for $200 but were going to charge me $369-450... I was trying to get it installed there and then a dyno tune.

Dead thread.. which is sad for Depo as im sure if these people who spent money on his parts WOULD post proper dynos, logs, or even protune results, etc.. It would probably benefit the maker. We all know those that will swear that only a $1k tmic or $1500 fmic is the way to go no exception, but there is a group, albeit small, that would like to buy just a larger better flowing IT

I was thinking of getting this TMIC as well. Specially since they are somewhat local to me and the price. When Depo Racing gets their charge pipe back in stock. I will be purchasing both the pipe and TMIC and installing at the same time. With results. With the summer weather right around the corner would be perfect to test before and after results.
