Those two cars are on the same boat.

It typically takes 3-5 days to accessorize all the cars on one boat. Trains leave the yard at different times as well. His car is probably on the front of the boat and yours on the back...

Glad you guys are so excited!!!

I heard (both through my personal Subaru dealer, and a friend that works at a certain port that is popular with a few manufacturers) that Subaru is basically alone in having their own personally trained workforce for customizing new cars.

That show kills me. I also find joy in tormenting RyStar about how his SWP DXO with Navi will never show up and he will grow old waiting for it...

Aside from upper end luxury/exotics, that is what I have heard as well.

It is not that we get whiney, rather that SoA gets worried that you are very upset and calls the dealerships Owner/GM to express concern. It just raises flags that don't need to be raised if you are just curious for an update.

I recommend always trying the dealership first. If you just talked to him yesterday you may just need to calm down a little

If it was a week ago Tuesday just send him an email saying that people online were recieving VIN#s and ETAs over the past few day, and you just wanted to check.

Just my .02

I was worried about this when I called too. I made it a point to tell them (twice) that I was not complaining and the dealership was treating me well. They needed to call the dealership to get the VON # so I'm hoping they would have relayed to them that I wasn't trying to make trouble.

This is good. If you cannot get answers from your dealership and do call Subaru, letting them know you are not upset and are just checking for status is a great way to start the conversation. Good on you.

Impreza/WRX-STI/Tribeca are the only models on Subaru.com not showing 2013. What's the holdup? And my freshly issued VIN won't be accepted into the MySubaru system on the site (that's more understandable, I don't own it yet).

Just short shifter and wheel locks.

What options did you get?

That is weird. * sigh * Love the Suby platform, but can't understand the company's marketing much of the time.

Short shifter, homelink mirror, bumper cover, fog lights, arm rest extension, and body side moldings. I think I am going to get the red footwell lighting kit at some point too...easy enough to install on my own.

Does the arm rest extension interfere with shifting, Short Throw or not?
