Default A few pictures of my STi on the dyno (56k don't click!)

My friend took these with his Canon 20D...I think some of the shots are pretty cool

Just so everyone knows...black is the best color!

It's a full Stromung 3 inch turboback exhaust that I bought from Dave @ SRP and yeah its definatley quieter than most STi exhausts that I've heard and has a very good tone to it (and will be even quieter when I get equal length headers!)

Here are a few videos of the car on the dyno:

Black is wack, white is tight...........

I used to have a black WRX, love the color. Went with white cause I was tired of the high maintenance. White is a little more forgiving.

Not to derail the thread or anything, but does anyone know if this stromung catback with fit with a Cobb DP? I'm pretty sure I want this catback now after seeing his pics.

if the stromung CB uses a donut flange like the Cobb than it will, most CB's i've seen use a flat flange, though an exhaust shop could make it work either way if you wanted.

Just call whoever sells the Stromung and ask if its flat flange or donut.

did you get tuned, or was it just a dyno day? I'm gonna have a similar set up as you (APS 3" TBE, Cobb AP), but also going to put on APS headers (I just got the headers and DP coated at performance coatings), and was curious what kind of numbers I may have. I'll be using off-the-shelf Cobb map until I decide to get protuned down at PDX (and probably when I'm done with most of my minor engine mods)...

Thanks! but those are actually SSR GT7-H's not Prodrives...they are almost identical expect SSR's have the chrome lip (vs being solid in color)

This was just for baseline numbers for future mods, no tuning. If you go to Kito's to dyno, I'd be very interested to see what gains you get over my car with the addition of the headers. I am planning that to be my next mod.

Interesting sound your car makes. I have a catless bellmouth DP, and Stromung catback, stock headers, and Perrin UP. My car is still a 2 liter, and sounds very similar to the STi, so maybe the rumors that the 2.0 and 2.5 sound different are all lies.

Good sounding car though, one of these days I really need to have my car tuned and call it good.

Nice car, I didn't know the 20d would wash out on whites as bad as it did in the first pic.

It's just the setting and lighting in the pic...any camera can get wash out regardless of how good it is

How do those compare pricewise to the Prodrives?
