Post CE light - catalytic converter efficiency below threshold

I had my CE light come on a couple weeks ago and had it diagnosed in a local shop as a catalytic converter problem. They reset the computer and the light hasn't come back on since. What's going on? Do I really have a catalytic converter problem or what?

Thanks,

Jason
