Default New to me STi. What is this Toggle Switch?

Stupid question, and I know none of you can know for positive... However, I just bought a 2006 Sti. It has what I presume is an open source tune... no AP etc.. intake /exhaust Defi gauges/controller. Supposedly 350ish Hp tune.. the guy I bought it from didn't drive it, he took over payment for his son, so he didn't know crap about the car. Sooo..

Any suggestions as to what this might be? There is a momentary up/down toggle mounted right in front of the DCCD button and dial. I txt the kid and asked. He said he wasn't sure but the dealer told him they thought "more power" /"less power" button?

Doesn't seem to do anything but I don't want To duck anything up if it's anything to do with the tune.. keep in mind it is not on/off/on like normal. It returns to center when released

Thx

Yeah I know right that's what the guy told me I can see if it was an on off maybe two separate tune maps but I'm not really familiar with any type of open source tuning or if this has anything to do with that

You could start by checking if it's hooked up to anything...

I believe that is the power scan demodulator button. It realigns the rotary thrust valve bearings with the cam ring diffusers inside the bump crank deflector for that extra boost needed when the hydraulic sprocket shank is fully extended.

That's ridiculous^
That has less than nothing to do with the hydraulic sprocket shank, extended or not.
If the johnson rod is engaged, you're good to go.
If not, you're f-ed.

Typically before switching to 'more power' mode I'll at least check the specs on the endline for the rotary girder.

Intercooler spray? I don't know how the IC spray button works, if it's momentary on or not, but just hazarding a guess.

Needed this nice laugh on my late shift lol, only STi I ever owned was an 04 everything else is wrx and I never noticed anything like that on it. Probably just a gag switch someone put in to placebo their friends into thinking it's a "power switch"
