Default Please help me decide on what fuel injectors and pump to get? Please help.

Hi,

I have a 2006 WRX and i also have a brand new Dead Bolt Big EVO III 16g. I will eventually go with this turbo setup in the near future and I need your help to decide what fuel injectors and pump to get.

I would like a set of injectors that will allow me to get maximum power from my 16g, same goes for the fuel pump, donít want something over kill and expensive though, I need just enough flow to handle my 16g on its limits.

Please help and advise me.

Thank you, Bala

Going for that nasty quick spool ey.

Your 16G compares pretty close to an 18G, and you'll hear both from folks that run stock injectors (though almost maxed) and do fine and folks that bump them up to something like 750s. I'd go w/ some 750s or something in that range just to be safe, plus if you ever want to go w/ a bigger turbo, you'll be better prepared.

Search on "18G" and "injectors" and see what you get.

for the pump just run what everyone else does - a walbro 255.

for the injectors you have TONS of choices. Personally, we've been very happy with the modded and flowmatched ones that Andrew, Russ, and Phil over at gearbox tech have been doing.

the evo III 16g may be too small for the 2.5l. you might want to consider something a little bigger

+1 for modded stockers. Your 06 injectors are already 550's so you might be able to get away, but I would upgrade. The 16g will not be too small for the 2.5. Stock turbo is ALOT smaller. The 2.5L 16g setup will make for a killer autox machine. I am in the same boat, and debating the 16g super 16 over an 18g.
