Default pics request legacy wagon with rs rims

i currently have 3 sets of wrx/rs wheels for my legacy. my gunmetal wrx rims look really good on my GF's silver 02 wagon, and her bronz-ish wrx wheels look really good on my green/grey legacy outback wagon.. i just picked up a set of 2000 RS wheels and wonder what they would look like on my wagon. i ask because i have 2 sets of tires and 3 sets of wheels. so if anyone has a pic it will help me make a choice on what wheels i want.

I think the RS wheels are really awesome. I think they are the perfect size for the non-lifted wagons/sedans. I'm not sure how they'd look on a lifted one, they could look just as good. Just haven't seen that yet.

Not to split from topic too much - but I have searched unsuccessfully for a simple question - is the offset the same on WRXs and Legacys? I've got an 02 Legacy GT and I was thinking about putting some Impreza shoes on.

i think impreza offset is 45mm and legacy stuff is 48mm either way 3mm isnt much to worry bout... i've been running wrx/rs wheels on my legacy since i've owned it.

word, they fit perfectly. Only rims you have to watch out for is 05+STI. Everything else fits fine.

I have Anthricite RS rims on my '02 and they fit great. Since they are 7" wide I went up to 215/55 R16s. I will try to post picture later.

Peace,

Greg

i dunno man, i like that a lot. maybe try painting them a different color? if ya really don't like 'em though, i'll be happy to take them off your hands!

oh and with a 7" wide rim, can't you run wider tires than a 215? i'm running 225s on my forester rims.

Just my opinion, though.....

Ok, well the RS wheels are on the GF's wrx. I installed eibach pro-kit springs today 1.1" drop front and rear and swapped on the rs wheels. I may still paint them, but they look better on her car.

and I fixed my legacy saggy butt! whoo hoo.. swapped in stock wrx wagon rear springs with tein s-techs up front.

i know! i'm so excited to get it aligned and see how she handles.. the spring rates are all jacked up as the teins are pretty stiff, but they are suporting the weight of the engine. the GR-2's are 25% stiffer than stock springs so that will help, as well as the RSB set to 20mm. I've read that the rear wrx wagon springs are kinda soft.. so i'm a little curious about some rub factor.. but we'll see next week.. all i can say now, is the stance looks killer. i'll take some more pics when is lighter outside so you can see the wheel gap.. but i'm hella stoked...

Off topic again

I have a set of Enkei Rs5 that are 16X7 I have 205-50-16 on there now I was wondering if I could put 215-55-16 on there. I'm guessin the off set is 40 and had one of those spacers so they fit I haven't had them on the car since I got wrx rims which had been over a year but is summer is comin. and with all this bigger brake talk with 16x7 my intrest in these rims have peaked again

rs rims in anthracite w/225-50-16
I think the RS rims look better on impreza, while the WRX rims are sharp on your wagon

bought them on nasioc. they were painted with duplicolor wheel paint 3-4 coats and 2 clearcoats. couple years later the have quite a few chips but not too bad. I use the stock rims for winter tires.
