Option 10 is NAV
Spec code C is California spec(emissions).
Really? They are all 50 state compliant in the US, so I guess all of us have spec c cars

Ah! This bodes well for me! I would think that ours "might" be on the same truck and it would've gone through Chicago on the way to WI? My salesman was out today, so maybe it showed up and I'll just get a call in the AM :-D

*Fingers crossed* I have a clear bra and tint appointment on Thursday haha

SDC? I don't pay a lot of attention to the areas included to each of those. They are far enough away, we really don't interact with them.

Hey guys finally picked her up! '13 STi DGM base sedan. Big thanks go out to Omar and Mike who were a pleasure to work with! I also ended up with the added on warranty and maintenance plans too lol. Hopefully she will be as good to me as Evanston Subaru was!

I am going to take better pictures tomorrow! I promise. The Dark Gray Metallic looks so ****ing sexy let me tell you!

By the way I was originally scheduled to pick up on 10/8 but ran into some problems with my credit union, so ultimately ended up with Harris bank. Any update on the 10/8(10/15) delivery group photo!?

Here is a cell phone pic from the dealership. Bought it at Somner's Subaru in Mequon. Saleswoman was Chris Glass, highly recommended. Ended up paying under invoice and dealer cost on the options. Awesome car buying experience, worlds better than when I purchased my Mazda.

Details of the car - Base, Fogs, STS, trunk trim and armrest extender. The boost gauge isn't installed since they are on back order so if you have the boost gauge you may have to go back to get it installed when they arrive. There were a few minor chips in the clear coat and the sales manager told me I could bring it in whenever I wanted and they would have it taken care of at a body shop. Very impressed with the dealership and the car is well worth the wait!

Nope. Pipeline reports are only for my store...

I also watch sold orders for our customers and it is just as long because I am watching it. No one here has anything on a Forester customer we have(except the 2012 to 2013 convert). She ordered hers on 6/27 and it is still on a ship!!!

Since the order was in October, I wouldn't even think about it till after Thanksgiving. If it comes in before that? BOOM! Surprise!
I don't know if it's a good thing or not but my dealership said they got a few 2013 Forester and XV in this month. My saleman said he's confident I'll get the car in 6-8 weeks because that's the normal timeline for everyone that ordered one so far. Sounds promising to me but I'll wait either way. I know the longer I wait the more I'm going to enjoy this car.

Crazy idea.....(need your opinions).

I placed an order for an STI last weekend. They told me 8-10 weeks and I put
$500 deposit down (non-refund able). Note I am also trading in my 2009 Legacy GT. I got a very good deal, no complaints on the price.

Last night I found my exact car at another dealership. I called the dealer that I placed my order with and he said they don't often do deals because dealers do not like to trade out their alloted STIs and will ask for a premium.

My idea, I take my invoice to the dealer with the STI and say if you can beat this price by $500 dollars I will buy the car now (with trade-in) and cash difference.

The original dealer will keep the $500 dollar deposit and I will get the new car for $500 dollars cheaper at the new dealers. For me it is a push.

Any thoughts?

I hear that. When I talked to my dealer yesterday, he had no new info and hasn't for the past 5 weeks when he received my partial VIN on 9/18.

Sounds like a good plan if you can get it to work. I highly doubt the other dealer will go $500 cheaper though but doesn't hurt to try. Good luck to you!

They say its non-refundable but I've been told that they are not legally allowed to keep this deposit. Maybe someone else can back me up on this...

Got an email from my dealer today that said all the wrx/sti's they ordered are 'in stasis' and they are working with upper management to figure out the delay.
I tried to order in May, put down a deposit down early June, 6-8 weeks from August 15, then it was 'the November allocation' but could be sooner. Now November is almost here and they still have no clue.

SWP limited hatch, w/ Nav.

Navigation is the reason why it's delayed. It has been discussed that one of the trend that can cause a huge delay in your order.

Yeah, I'm convinced people read this thread and say, let's not release that car juuuust yet.

I just got an update from my dealer, car had been marked "shipped truck" with an ETA of tomorrow.

We'll see.

Going on 7 weeks this Saturday. My patience is running thin. It's been about a month since I last heard from my dealer when he said December ETA. I have a feeling November will be a tough month for me.

I regret getting the navigation now, but I know when I finally get my car it will be worth the extra wait.
