Are you going to re-circ or dump
To atmosp. with your EWG? I went with atmosphere and boy am I sorry haha.

Absolutely love the ride though man, can't wait to upgrade to the PW TMIC myself, definitely next on my list.

I'm going with the GS UP's dump tube (44mm Tial). Why are you sorry you did it? Too loud?

Thank you for the compliment. It's getting there....

Wayyy louder than what I expected. Also completely took away that boxer sound at full throttle, still there when I'm not punching it though.

EWG was really my only choice though, was over-boosting so bad it wasn't able to be tuned out.

I will admit though, the look on pedestrians faces on the sidewalk when you open that wastegate up is priceless =D

I was actually surprised how subtle the EWG is with the windows up. I have a very quiet car all around and I really didn't think it was that bad adding the EWG. Plus it's only open when you want it to be.

I have the GrimmSpeed 44mm kit. It's quieter than some of the others (due to the dump tube pipe I think). And the 38mm's seem to be louder than the 44mm's, I think it's just a different tone, so it seems louder.

Of course when you have the windows down, are in a tunnel, or are standing next to the car, it is definitely super loud. I really like it. My EWG doesn't open until 20psi, so it's easy to keep it quiet around town.

Sounds like we were both forced to EWG, but for different reasons. I'm getting a lot of IWG flutter right now, so this was my only option.

I've heard it on my buddy's 09 STI, which is insanely built and tuned (450+whp). I know mine won't sound nearly as crazy as his, but I do love the sound, so I'm looking forward to it.

Yeah, man. There's a good meet every Wednesday night at the Waugh Chapel Shopping Center. It seems to grow every week. I'd say there were about 40 cars last time. Mule, that sound right?

Hereyago - http://www.modmeets.com/showthread.p...gh-Chapel-Meet
Yeah about 40 or so. Starts at 7 every wednesday . And have any of you with boost spike issues ever tried an EBC? I run a Turbosmart eboost2 which controls boost, WG press, and WG sensitivity and I have never had boost spike issues. However I would love to have an EWG because I love the sound it makes. But that's just me. .

Oh and yes Rich is that gentleman you spoke of. He does my car and people ask me if I've had it repainted it looks so good. Nope paint is all OE of 104,000K. .

Yeah. It's just going to take time to bake in the oven. That's how I did my headlights.

This is where I'll be posting everything from now on. Maintaining 2 build threads is just too much of a pita.
