Question AT OIL TEMP light flashes at startup...

The indicator light flashes for about 10 sec. when I start the car. Has anyone experienced this? The car hasn't stalled on me and I haven't noticed any hesitation while accelerating.

I am going to take my car in today, but wanted to check here first. I have searched around the forums a lot but haven't been able to find anything on this.

Thanks.

That means that the TCM (trans control module) as noticed a fault.

its much like a Check engine light, but for the trans.

you will have to have the code pulled and go from there.

Some models will actually display the code when its flashing. You should count them next time it does it.

this happened on my 92 turbo, and the abs system stayed on when the car was turned off, drained the bat, all it needed was a new conrol unit. it also happened in my 95, but after about 30 minutes it stoped, and never did it again.
