Arrow Anyone cross-referenced Suabru Fuel Injectors?

I am so tired of aftermarket parts for Subaru's being so darned expensive! EIGHT injectors for the Vette's I work on cost $295! And people tell me that 4 injectors for my car cost over $600!

Has anyone ever cross-referenced the Subaru injectors or am I screwed? Are they low or high Impedience? Thanks

Eric

eric i should have more details for you soon.. 8complex and i are going to see about fitting RX-7 Injectors in...and yes i agree with you...but just remember those designs you are suing on those vettes have been paid for since the 80's....this is a new game out here and an expensive one at that.

That's good. That means you can at least run low impedience if you need to.

Eric:

Just bore out the injector bosses and use the Bosch injectors you probably have in the shop. That's what I am currently planning.

ben i was wondering if that would work...get a set a 52lb/hr GM Bosch PFI injectors...they are 16.0-16.8 ohm injectors....but they aren't dual spray...which ours are and that might be a problem...i'd be concerned with fuel puddling on the cylinder head and running down the walls into the chamber.

Here's another trick guys. Don't buy the Bosch injectors from GM. get the SVT injetors from Ford. They are a lot cheaper and exactly the same thing. THat's actually what we use on our Vettes. I was wondering if those would work. THey look very similar

If you bore out the bosses, shouldn't the injectors seat deeply enough into the head to avoid puddling?
