Cool What is it about frickin lazers?

I bought one of those infrared laser beam thingies tonight so I could terrorize my cars. It's working great!

So I had the beam on the ceiling and I see this wierd spot up there. So I put the beam on it and move it away and notice it's a little spider. Next thing I know, I've got my two cats on the ground following the beam on the ceiling and the spider on the ceiling chasing the beam all across the house.

Now my cats are freaking out - still trying to find that damn elusive beam.

What is it with this beam that attracts kitties .. and apparently spiders?

Wait. This is infrared, but you can see the beam?

[Something about infrared being outside the human spectrum of sight goes here.]

[Edit: Yeah, what Habu typed before I could type it.]

I love the part that says "I bought one of those infrared laser beam thingies tonight so I could terrorize my cars. It's working great!"

I didn't know you could play with your cars like that...

The sad thing is that I read it as Cats. I knew where he was going. That's why I'm not a very good proof reader I guess.

Green bean lasers>infrared lasers.

Some nimrod was bouncing a green one off a disco ball at a shindig, I couldn't stop laughing at it.

They'd be killer in SF in the fog... not sure if cars would enjoy them.
