Default EJ257 or DOHC EJ22t Help me Decide

Soon to be at my disposal are two options.
EJ257 from 05 sti Complete with wiring harness, and blown ringland.
Or
94 Touring Wagon Donor.
Ej25d Heads stock shortblock and turbo. Legacy Turbo 5MT.

Pros for EJ257: Newer Technology, can drive Touring wagon while I do swap.
Cons: Newer more complicated.

Pros for DOHC EJ22T: Simpler wiring, Wont have to mess with engine. Will have Turbo trans instead of NA.
Cons: Will have to get rid of donor car when done. Will have to share car while doing swap.

Also considering Cost. And what I can sell the option I dont use for.

Get the harness from the '05 STi and intake manifold etc.
Sell it for $$ to get '06-current WRX heads and rebuild the EJ22T. Use that block with the '06 WRX heads with that '05 STi harness. If you're afraid of immobilizers, go '04 STi ECU and be done with it.

But what are you wanting in the finish project??? What are you using it for???

I would like a 300-350 WHP daily driver.

Can I use a 04 ECU with a 05 Harness?
