Default V7 sti motor installed

ok just put in my V7 sti motor in my 02 wrx, i noticed when i was putting on a new oil filter that i have a sandwich adapter with two factory looking wires with plugs and pressure sensor coming off the oil filter area. is there a factory option for oil pressure and temp? and i am assuming i can use those wires to hook up to gauges

My v7 does not have these, no idea if it was a additional option but i would guess it is possible.

Those are 100% for aftermarket gauges, most likely greddy. I've got the same deal on the bottom of my car. The 2-wire is temp, the 3-wire is pressure.
