I'm having to chase down a stock downpipe for my '15 WRX. Anyone seen someone selling one? I don't use FB, either, so I'm limited to what I can see on here.
Thanks for any help, in advance

Hey guys! it's been awhile since I've been on here. Been really busy with work and family.

I'm finally getting my wagon done. I just put the motor in Thursday and finishing up the fuel lines this weekend.. I just order a dual catch can system as well so hopefully get that installed this week.. I wound up doing alot more stuff to it than I anticipated but I'm EXTREMELY EXCITED to see it coming together. Gotta do some research on some things and if all goes well then I should be driving again in a month or 2

LOL

No, that's not mine, but I did see it and go, damn I'm not the first to make it on their show. The funniest part of that video is when the kid gets in the passenger seat and gets wide eyed when Vinny bounces it off the rev limiter.

I've actually been kind of quiet lately because of some life stuff. We went on that vacation back east, and when we got back, we talked about buying a house. There was a bit of a communication problem between my wife and I because she sent my landlord a text telling him we wanted to buy a place. He responded with "Find a place by September or I'm putting you back on a regular lease." So the race was on, we closed on the 26th last month and it's been pretty crazy getting everything moved/done. We've been in the house 2 weeks now and it's finally starting to settle down, so I'll be more active than I have been.

As for car stuff. My hatch is running great and still pulls like a freight train with the new VF52. Bugeye is going down to Simple this Friday to get the diffs welded and to go RWD. I'm not going to be surprised if I pop the motor though, it's been kicking out some smoke, so get ready to help me rebuild a motor John, lol. Could honestly be the fact that it sits most the time, It really only gets started and moved like 50 ft like 3 times a week. Other than the life stuff, I'm back at the car thing, so when are we doing another meet up?

There it is. Just got it back yesterday and had to dump the clutch in it. First burnout in the soon to be completed drift car.

Where is everyone? I still talk to a few people in real life. and they all seem to be interested in getting together. We need to revive C&C and TT again.

I agree, unfortunately unless more people come here, that's where most of the stuff is getting planned/happening.

I have a 1 on 1 instructor course on 10/5 for my drift car. I'm not sure if they'll let me on the course after, but itll be good to have a refresher and have someone there to correct bad habits before going full on in events. Not sure if that's anyone else's scene on here, but it's out at UMC from 5 - 10 if anyone wants to come down.

UMC was a blast. My car held up pretty well considering it got hammered on with multiple clutch kicks and hanging out in the high RPMs. I found a couple weak spots though. I still need to get the front knuckles modified so I can get a better angle on my slides, once the back end kicks out it's tough to maintain a controlled slide, even the Pro's struggled on the course with it. I'm also going to upgrade to a better/stiffer/grabbier clutch. Other than that it had plenty of power to get going. I'll throw a video up of me doing donuts in it later today.

I gotta check the BPV lines though. My DAM dropped pretty low on the accesport, after I reset everything I was only pulling a max of 7.8 lbs of boost and I get a gnarly turbo flutter when I let off the gas. Since nothing sounds like its grinding or broken I'm hoping its just a loose recirculating line, since my hatch made the same sounds when I blew that line off and was down on power.

Overall I'm pretty proud of myself, I was the only Subaru there and that was cool, I got to drive my car home after beating on it super hard. So, there's my drift car project update.

There's the donut video. I caught the cone under my front bumper, whoops. lol. It's still a work in progress, but I managed to get it out before the end of the year.

Does anyone around here ever go out for drives, meets or anything? I checked out cars and coffee but there was hardly anyone around and those who were just kinda kept to themselves.
