How do you set positive offset on 16bit ECU?

My tuner told me my factory sensor needed replacing, as it was reading incorrectly. Installed this, adjusted the values...and it didn't start.

Lots of failed 4 Bars. Never a failed 3 bar. Use 3 bar unless you are going over 35 psi. better resolution for SD.

Sorry for the braindead question here. I have AccessTuner Race. If I get the OmniPower 3 bar, do I simply need to go in and set the Multiplier and Offset? The screen for the multiplier looks like this. Seems odd that stock is 0.686 and should be replaced with 9.123. I was wondering if there was some other conversion I'm missing. Thanks for any help. The reason I need the new MAP sensor is I recently got tuned at 23 PSI and car's now throwing a P0108. If I can easily update the tune myself that will save me a trip back to the Tuner.

Yes. That is correct. The sensor is a large change. Just enter the mult and the offset. Save file, Reflash to car.

Sorry to bring this post back from the grave but i have a problem with the omni power 4 Bar MAP. I installed it on an MY08 EDM STI, seted up the multiplier at 0.833 and offset to 0.012 (ecuflash is in BAR), lowered the low input voltage to avoid the cel and it reads great. iddles perfect but when logging with romraider, it still reads up to 23 psi and nothing further even when the turbo is at 28 psi read with an AEM boost gauge.

Am is missing something?

Hope to get some usefull input.

Regards.

Are you logging with the correct manifold pressure setting? One of them wont go past 23psi when logging. I believe I use Manifold Relative Pressure (4-byte) for my 05 STi...that's off the top of my head, might need someone to confirm that.

I only tested with MAP relative 4-byte. I'll give a try logging with all the MAP sensor options.

Regards.

PS: Marangua, that might be your problem too. Try logging and give us some feedback.

Clark, have you had problems with the AEM 5 bar sensor? It runs about the same price as the 3.5 bar. It's for my Borg Warner 8375 EFR build.

I would run the 3.5 bar Stainless model for E85 use. The Brass one is ok for gasoline. But will fail with E85. I would not run the 5 bar unless you planned on maxing the 3.5 out with serious boost.

Thanks Clark, when am I really going to tune past 50 psi anyway. I have another question for you, I'll be running dual Aeromotive in tank fuel pumps. Are these able to take E85? I opted to do this to keep it stealth as opposed to a swirl pot setup.

I would not use the 340 with E85. They suggest changing the filter every 10 hours. This makes no sense. I think they use this to get away from warranty claims with E85 failures.

On your car, I would use a single walbro 460 fuel pump. Install new bulk head fittings onto the factory fuel pump hanger for 10 or 12 AWG wire. DO NOT use the factory wire and plug. Use 10AWG from battery to 50 amp relay. Or a 70 amp relay if you get a good one. Cheap 50 amp relays run hot with this pump.

If the car is over 550whp, I suggest you use a -8 bulk head fitting and install that on the factory pump hanger. Do not use the factory small metal fitting. Its a serious restriction.

I would completely remove the factory fuel pump controller from the car. Use the power feed to that controller to turn the relay on. Cobb AP has the ability to properly tune and delete the factory fuel pump controller.
