Stick in a running motor for now I may have won a car on copart waiting for a response from the owner. Id also like to stick a 2.2 block in with the ej25d heads and intake mani and see if my turbo kit i sold the other year is still for sale and finish my build from that legacy project it just depends on whats available. ive been eyeing wrecked wrxs too thats been poping up lately wouldnt mind doing a project with 1 of them

The Juneau members have their own thread on here I think but yeah there are a few of them that use to chime in.

Pulled the trigger and did a trunk swap. #FlameSuit

Aside from the aesthetics and how it looks, I don't mind, but, I will honestly admit after having my 2003 with and without a trunk spoiler, I noticed a huge difference is control and stability at really most speeds, which, just made the handling and feel drastically comfortable. I was able to find someone who fortunately had the trunk, extremely low mileage like mine, garaged like mine, so it was a good trade.

I will have to say though, I'll sooner sign up for a roshambo tournament before I deal with tension bars again...

Yeah, they were not fun, but, we found a system that worked and it sped it up. We lifted the trunk latch first, inserted the tensioner bar in, and then worked it into the opposite end. Then all you have to do is lower the trunk 3/4, use a 2x2 board to push the loop back, and then the latch from the trunk just drops down and locks in. It was a relief cause the non-wing WRX/STi tension bars are bent more aggressively since they're not as thick as the winged STi...

Default FXT is oil thirsty

Put oil into Ron Beargundy today for the first time in about 2 months. Couldn't believe the XT drank over a quart of 15w40 that quick without a drop anywhere or smoke. I might need to check the turbo...

Replacing a exhaust gasket that was about 6,000 miles overdue. Found out my exhaust has been impacting the axle so I'm gonna have to look into a GC specific exhaust here soon.
