Default RaceComp Engineering Swaybars (2008-2014 WRX/STi)

RaceComp Engineering swaybar kit. The sway bars were used for about 30,000 miles, and are in great shape. They're hollow bars that are bot 25.5mm in size. They're a great upgrade. I used them with the GT Worx kit, and it really brought things together.

Asking $350 shipped:

I'd be interested except I hear they rub against the SPT exhaust, which I have. Although I've also read that some people use them together with no problems...

Wow, I just googled that. If that's true, that's crazy. Why would Subaru make an exhaust that had 1/8" clearance from the sway bar?? Verses factory this bar is about 6mm larger overall, so 3mm on one side. The SPT exhaust doesn't have 3mm of clearance? I guess you could check and see, but it does seem hit or miss (no pun intended).

Also, I don't think this is an RCE issue. The bar follows the stock shape. This is a SPT exhaust issue that some reports showed even hitting the factory sway bar...

Two follow ups: you have a 2011+ STi which has the same suspension as the 2010 SE, so it has 20mm rear sways, right? Second, if you want to drop down here to install and ensure they donít rub/bump, Iím okay with that.

Yeah, I should just get under the car and have a look at my current clearance.

To be clear, Iím just in disbelief that Subaru sold an exhaust with that little clearance. Iím a big OEM+ guy, and this just seems very unnecessary. That said, if you want to measure, or drive down to see for sure, let me know.
