Default any recommendations to get tuned in socal with ecutek?

I'm looking for a place to get tuned, but was wondering who would you all recommend. I'm also looking for a cheap one since I'm cheap. Hopefully under the 1k range. Thanks

Peter

Echi is good.. only down-side to that is that GT motorsports charges $1050 for there tune.

I am getting mine done here soon.. I'll only be paying $650 for Ecutek, that includes road tuning too.

Hey where are you getting the ECUTek with road tune for 650? I'm in So Cal as well, I called GT and they were kind of high compared to the rest of the Ecutek vendors.

Thanks

Yes, we are now in SoCal. We have not opened up the shop officially, yet . However, this does not mean that Bill cannot tune. He has a laptop and will travel If you need a module that neeeds tuning or you would like an ECUtek then just email Bill at [email protected].

Here are a few things to note:
- You do not have to tune on a dyno to get great results.
- No Dyno can simulate real road conditions.
- Dynos are great tools for refining and for getting the last few percent of the tune.
- Dyno are great for not getting speeding tickets.

If you would like more info on truths and untruths of Dynos then here is a good read: http://www.i-speed.us/technical/dyno_systems.shtml

Yes, it is true that $650 is our current price. But please be aware that we are only honoring that price until the new shop opens.

Sorry, but med.sqft and new dynapak will add to our overhead.

Thx, hope I make it before the prices go up. But with a road tune the price is still a bargain. Go I-speed.

Yes we do. We are not retailing the new Sti/Legacy GT etc. flashes yet. Without being to complicated, there are quite a few new bells and whistles in the new software. We would like to think that customers would prefer us to use our cars as demos not theirs...but I have been known to be wrong. Anyone wanna subject their STi or Legacy GT to some I-Speed testing

I am interested in a EcuTek dyno tune as well.

I would go with GT Motorsports as the proof is in the pudding. Although I do not own a Subaru, I had the opportunity to run Ichi on the 210E. His super tuned ride gave me fits and I ain't by any means a slowmobile. Again, the proof is in the pudding.
