If you actually did spend $80K on this build I would consider this both a waste of time and money but I guess that's what you get when you don't do your research.

PS.

When you can afford a 80k car, you don't need to know about everything. You pay people to do what they specialize in, not waste your money with trial and error builds.

It looks like that time you saved by not doing research cost you about $25K more than what you should have paid.

Like I said previously 30k for the car
50k for the parts + labor.

All exterior and interior mods + engine modifications.

Do the math you seem slightly smart

50k for labor and parts is still a **** ton. Then again you said everything was prof installed at prob 80$ a hr so it could be possible.

Yeah, but GST charges $115 an hour. The only route I think I messed up on was the turbo and headers I originally had. Which were the dominator 3.0xtr and the tomei headers. Those damn headers don't fit anything but the GTspec up-pipe which hasn't been produced in a very long time. Which delayed the external waste gate setup.

Why didnt you just go with a rotated turbo? You would have had less lag and would have made just as much power.

Yeah I'm on a rotated setup now. With a nitrous setup that is in the works. Should have a dyno up next week.

Definitely possible considering I made 420 on E85 with the 3.0xtr, with a mustang dyno.

Keep us updated!

more like you spent all that money but still lost to a Acura integra ...who probably spent 5-6k on his build. Just because you throw money at your car doesn't make it fast.

Yeah you're right. Should of got a integra instead of a AWD 2012 Subaru. That could drive through rain like its dry and run the snow like its rain.

IMHO
I'd rather have some class and go fast
Then a beater that runs past.

I understand, but regardless, you could have saved money on pulling your trans, buying an 07 trans and then installing the 07 into your WRX by getting a base model STi lol.

True, but wanted to build a WRX not an STi.
You know everyone has an opinion on things, I agree and respect yours. But too little too late for that now. The WRX is now faster than 80% of other 12' STi.

Im not saying that. I'm just saying you probably could have saved thousands of dollars. And or had your car faster than 500whp or bought a GTR.

Remember this is a mustang dyno. So your 500whp is my 420whp. We use a very low reading dyno. For example Cobb tuning 1000hp GTR couldn't even hit 750 with GSTmotorsports mustang dyno.

If I were to do a baseline somewhere else I guarantee I'll be way over 500whp with this setup.

Not to add fuel to the fire, but is there a mod list on this integra and a video of the race?

You can check bayarearacing's YouTube channel.

They have my car on there along with the integra. You may be able to find out on there by asking around.
