Let me know if you want a test fitter for an Outback XT Tired of having two washers under the drivers side TMIC support bracket-manifold, a stack of washers and a nut under the support arm-TMIC side, and a spacer from the turbo to TMIC... I did the tranny fluid change yesterday which means taking off the TMIC...which should take 5min max to put back on.
sigh. |

Count me in as an early adopter if you need one. 2011 WRX with an Invidia DP and a custom tune. All stock besides that.

I have the Process West on my car, but would seriously consider swapping it for a Grimmspeed. The performance of the Process West is incredible and helped me achieve the numbers that I wanted but there are 2 things that I don't like about it.
1. I live in CT and my car is daily driven. With only 1 full winter under my belt with the Process West, the hood scoop splitter is beginning to rust. I don't know if it's a crappy coating or crappy metal used for it, but I am NOT happy about it after the price tag that came along with the package. 2. I don't know if it is preventable, but under certain throttle the Process West (and similar knock offs) make a very awkward whistling noise. I heard the Spearco does the same thing too. Now, I know there is a lot of air being sent through the intercooler but it's a little annoying to hear from time to time and have someone ask if my car has a boost leak. Could just be a personal preference of mine, but if you can create a design that avoids that, you can use that in a positive way to advertise your product. Thanks for listening, I'm very interested to see what you guys come up with! |

I wasn't aware the PW splitter was made of metal. Why on earth would it not be plastic?

I know I'm new to the forum and still have a ways before I really start modding... but I'm excited for this TMIC! I was originally looking at the Process West too.

We're still in the R&D stage of this project and should have something available in the spring!
Check out our Facebook page as we post all product updates and sneak peeks there first https://www.facebook.com/grimmspeed?ref=hl Mike Last edited by GrimmSpeed; 12-16-2013 at 12:56 PM. |

any new updates on the new TMIC progress? i am not a user of the facemeet. are you still hoping to see this released by spring? the AVO TMIC keeps calling me, but i keep telling it to shut up.
it goes a little like this: avo: "heeeeeey misosouppoop, ewe wanna git meeeeeeeee!" me: "shut up, yore stupid and shut-up-y and more dummer. imma gonna wade four the G-S won." |

knock out a few birds with one stone, manufacture a BIG FAT ASS tower strut bar to work in conjunction with your top mount. Have the tmic bolt on to the front tower strut bar to ensure fitment. Design it like the spearco where there's just tubes coming out of the ic so all we have to do is install a couple silicone couplers. That way you can make the IC nice and big but not as deep to accommodate the various bpv/bov's out there.
