Default Good place that mounts tires on wheels in Central NJ?

I am looking to buy some summer tires for my summer wheels. Can anyone recommend a good place located in the Princeton area that will gently mount the tires on my wheels?

Thank you in advance!

I have used both Flemington Subaru and EG Tire (Route 130, Dayton) for careful tire installations.

Thanks for the info I appreciate it! I think I'll try EG Tire in Dayton.

Tirerack.com has a searchable Recommended Installers area that shows the mounting equipment (look for touchless) and the costs.

Last year I was looking the get my summer tire mounted on new rims. A bodyshop I know recommended the STS in Hillsborough on Camplain Road. I was a little weary to use them, but they did an great job.

Only to curb a rim two weeks later.

Champion Tire in Ringoes NJ is great. I buy all of my tires from them. 908-782-0880

That's a good point about Tirerack. Maybe I'll check their site too.

I usually go to walmart to mount my rims. It cost me around $45 to unmount/mount and balance 4 wheels. The one on rt 9 in old bridge is pretty good and the tech named Alex was very careful with the rims. I have no complaints on his work. The only issue is, walmart may or may not do installs if the profile is too low.

I found the Tire Rack listings to be only partially usefully.

When I did a search, it brought up every gas station within 50 miles.

However...I did call them up and they helped weed through the list with me.

I agree, I checked the list they had, and they did list a lot of places. They did list the place in Dayton you mentioned. I think I will go there, as it is close to my work and decently priced.

Thanks again for everyone's help! It is greatly appreciated!

Bumping an old thread -

Anyone have recent experience with mounting tires in Central NJ? I'm in East Brunswick. I used Tire Rack's locator but was looking for people with personal experience.

Thanks.

I took my wife's car to Advanced tire and auto (146 rt. 35, keyport, NJ 07735). They have excellent service, they have a hunter roadforce alignment , and many BMW clubs go there because they align lowered cars as well. To top it off theyll fill ur tires with nitrogen instead of the regular air. The place is probably 20-30 min from you depending on how far down rt 18 you are in east Brunswick.

Odin43 and wutdadilyo - thank you for the info.

I'll check them out.

btw, if you need a mechanic for any needs (other than tire mounting - haha), let me know. My friend/mechanic is a brilliant guy with an amazing character. His work is always perfect. No one else touches my car or motorcycle.
He's in East Brunswick.
