OEM sway bar question - 18+ VA STI
Has anybody swapped a 2015-2017 STI rear sway bar onto a 2018+ car? If so was there any perceivable difference in a reduction in body roll or understeer? They went from a 20mm to 19mm bar in 2018.

cant comment but I recently installed a 24mm whiteline swaybar, endlinks, etc. Its set on medium and properly stiffened things up. Dialed out some understeer, big fan.

Some people had issues with rear wheel lift with 24mm bars. If you picked up a 3 way 22mm, soft is an effective 21mm which feels very neutral to me. Running the stiff 23 effective setting with an otherwise stock setup just decreased overall grip for me - fun in the rain though.
19 to 20 should be 20ish% stiffer. Sway bars are cheap. Personally, I'd choose something adjustable if you don't mind tinkering. |

Having adjustability does not mean that you have to be constantly fiddling with it. Once you've found a setting that suits you, just leave it there until/unless you do something else to the car that affects its understeer-oversteer handling balance. Norm |

better have adjustable length endlinks to go with your adjustable sway bar.

also thinking of 24mm whiteline sway bar
i have a 19 STI and im trying to find the best sway bar to pair with Fortune Auto 500 coilovers with Swift Springs (8k front 6k Rear standard setup) i'm thinking of the whiteline set up. if anyone has opinions on this setup or if anyone is running a similar set up and has recommendations let me know. also i'm new here so maybe im not asking in the right place.

On average, how hard do you really tend to drive it in the corners? Be honest. Norm |
