Default Tuned SRT-4 Today 293 whp 337wtq on stage 2

For the SRT-4 LOVERS

I don't do this often, but I took on an SRT-4 project a few weeks ago after tuning his brothers STi. I ordered up a MBC and MapClamp for tuning (as you can't just plug in w/o SCT Flash licenses).
So we got it all dialed in AFR and boost 2 days ago. Today we got it on the dyno and made some AMAZING power for a stage 2 car.
05 SRT-4 :
-TBE
-CAI
-MapClamp
-MBC
It make 293 WHP, 337 WTQ at 18 PSI peak tapering to 15 PSI.
Here is the graph and data chart
...HP and TQ are on 2 different scales as you can see.
Check out that powerband

Data Chart

Pretty AFR

Now power doesn't really get too the ground too well even with a stock LSD

not really, its right on par with most dyno's (I guess it would be up there with dyno jet #'s if anything). I did a little research after I we dyno'd the car. Typically tq was about the same, and depending on the dyno WHP was fairly close. There are some graphs i saw that were quite a bit lower, but most of those were stock srt-4's w./ no mods

anything is possible, i don't know the SRT-4's well enough to say what #'s are good, high, or low...honestly since you own one you've probably seen more numbers from dyno results. From what i've seen in my searches, numbers are a little higher than some, but nothing insane.

the caliber version is a joke, first one that came in I PDI'd and hell if it did not have a boost gauge that I could see moving I thought something wrong with it, much better off getting a Cobalt SS turbo if you actually want a FWD turbo car

Good power, Now get it to the track. On 23x8-15 M&H slicks my buddy was able to go mid 1.70s and he ended up going 12.63 with the same stuff this car has except he was on a stg0 ecu. And did have a Bigger FMIC. I have a video on my youtube of it going a 12.75.

^^I hate to say it, but he's gotta point...
I drove an E36 M3 when the SRT4 came out. I didn't dare fool with one, as it would have been too painful to get beat by a neon in my beloved BMW...

ya, its crazy to see what a car like this does with just $800-$1000 in mods (most of that in the exhaust)...for the money they make great power...only problem I had was like oneoverWRX said, you'd need to drive around on MT drag slicks to hook up all the time. 1st gear is just useless, 2nd gear spins like a bitch, and 3rd gear you finally get good traction

the srt-4 is actually a really fun car and i like them a lot.... the stage 3 turbo upgrade with a fully ported turbofold, injectors, exhaust, etc w/ lots of boost make around 400whp by 3k.... i watched a stage 4 srt-4 outrun a new SRT-10 viper.... i 'd

very cool cars... if only they made an AWD one that didnt have a one star crash rating

Friends S2+ car doesn't even make that. Same mods add huge FMIC.

As for not seeing SRT4's... you don't really see too many around here either. When you do.. it's more than likely NOT stock. Several rolling around here in the 500.'s. I ran a Super 60 SRT with a built auto and slicks the other day... nasty car.
