Cops are brutal in my area. One night coming home around 11pm I got pulled over for a liscense plate bulb out so i asked him if he could show me and he was like no im not giving u a ticket just a warning. I was like please show me so I know what to change and he didn't answer so i got out went to the back of the car all lights were working as intended. I asked him again why he pulled me over and the only thing he had to say to me was goodnight and drive safe. I dont get them and thats 1 of many harrasment stories lol.
Wow, thats as bad as my area i think. lol

Lol, where I live I'm one of the quieter ones. There's always EVOs, subies, Rsxs, mustangs, and TCs with an exhaust driving around. And half of them live near me

I've tryed to get a a cop to notice the exhaust (factory WRX) on my car but they don't even look lol! I flew past a buddy, easily going 60ish mph in a 35. He gets pulled over and written a BS ticket for loud music/speeding/racing $100 (complete BS!!) he drives a black Avenger (all stock) and my car is kinda flashy looking lol

So I installed my XM radio a couple nights ago. It's a Pioneer- I installed it under my driver seat. It's basically just a small metal box looking thing.

Anyway.. next day I drive my car and my TPMS light is on. WTF? I pull over to make sure and kick the tires, all feel fine. It's been pooring rain so I haven't checked pressure yet but I think they're fine. I'll do it tomorrow.

Is there any way that XM Radio could be interfering with TPMS?

Could be you may have wired something wrong, or not enough or too much amps causing the TPMS to trip. Im pretty sure the sensors run off voltage scaling to justify if its low on air or something. someone else will give you that info for sure, but im just guessing.

Check all the tire pressure in all the tires first. The TPMS uses a RF signal.

Tape over the light... Those things suck! It's just a way for dealers to make cash. Your tire pressure should be checked regularly anyways, especially on an AWD vehicle.

Really stupid question... But as some of you know I installed my rsb yestarday and I just went for a drive in the hills, which is what I usually take to have my happy time... Well every turn I took the rear end felt like it was kicking up and I felt really scared as to what was happening, as the rear end felt like it was looking traction as it was "hopping" up. I understand the steering characteristics would change, but would it cause the cause to have its end hop up with the rsb installed?

I never experienced this without the rsb.

I dont understand hopping lol. I've never felt that before. but it should be normal since you don't have body roll to compensate, you'll hit 'loss of traction'

Just what I think lol

I've felt it before when I was driving in the rain, kind of fish tailed at a turn

Yeah I check my tire pressure all the time and have pump in the trunk. I went out to check and stupid dealer must have deflated my passenger rear tire when they took it off for NYS Inspection that day.

I run 35lbs front 34 rear.. that tire was 27.5 lbs. Those idiots always screw with my tire pressure, even when I just drove 12 miles to get there. They let air out of a hot tire to make it 32 lbs, then overnight it cools off and it settles at 27.5 cold. The stupid part is they only checked one tire! Idiots! They should know that a hot tire is supposed to have more than sticker on door.

I still haven't driven it. I'm sure TPMS light will go off now.

its definitely not fish tailing since i wasn't near pushing it. way below the speed limit to test it out. By the hopping, I mean as if your where on a bumpy road sort of, and just the rear was having that type of suspension work.

Edit:

Could it be that it had to settle in? because I jusut went for a drive on the same route and i didnt experience the "hopping"

I dont hear any clunks, nor feel any loose screws..

I have felt a hopping feeling when pushing it hard in a bumpy corner but I'm on stiff coils and no rsb.

lol.. The "hopping" feeling is because your rear lower control arms are now being connected by the sway bar and end links... Instead of having your control arms basically always making contact with the road due to not being connected, they lift higher. Now when you turn left, you're rear left tire is planted to the ground and the bar is supporting the right hand side control arm up a little more then before. This is why you feel the "hopping". Your car should have dramatically less body roll now. Which is a good thing.

Had my power steering flushed yesterday. Notice a slight difference in steering wheel response. Going on 40k here soon. The fluid was fairly dark, and more so did it as a precaution because I got a good deal. Anyone else get theirs flushed yet?

Did you have a big temperature swing? If you are right on the cusp of the air pressure margin then a change of 10 degrees in air temp could drop the pressure in your tires. When you drive and they heat up, it could also make it go away.

Edit - Didn't see your post above where you found the low tire.

Well, less body roll is good, but actual hopping is not so great. Getting that 4th tire in the air looks cool in photos, but it means less tire in contact with the road and less tire in contact with the road hurts handling, power and braking.

OBD, what size say bar did you install, and did you change the front? Most AWD cars run a bigger front bar and a smaller rear bar. That may have something to do with it.

All of that said, if you are still on stock springs and struts, you may have just overdriven your suspension.
