Score! Where’d you end up sourcing them?

Found them in PA. Been looking for more than a year. Found a couple other sets, but they were not in great shape or had been powdered coated a different color.

If they're the ones I had saw on rs25 I didn't even bother messaging since he said he wasn't wanting to ship. I guess it never hurts to ask Good come up though!

Yesterday I put my car up on a lift to try and figure out my exhaust leak issues. Turns out my drivers side Perrin motor mount bushing was completely melted (from the heat of the downpipe). Crazy. Next weekend: new mount, Perrin headers, Cobb downpipe—both wrapped.

Atleast I'm not the only one.

I rerouted my IAG AOS hoses to what used to be the EGR inlet/outlet. This involved shaving a couple fittings down to fit in the holes. So ghetto... Hard to find -8AN to 5/8 barbed fittings.

Cleaned them up a bit after this pic.

I got my CEL to turn off by fixing a hole in the boost line to the wategate actuator.

I see you wrapped your mounts. I’m assuming this was to avoid the warranty destroying header wrap? Or no? I’m being pulled from both ends on this. My shop wants to wrap the headers and Perrin says no. Doing it Saturday.

I think wrap and coating "void" their warranty, but I would bet they would be more likely to warranty a coated header more times than a wrapped one. I run those mounts and the Perrin header on my car and they are holding up great.

Actually I spoke with a guy at perrin the other day. Wrapping a naked header voids the warranty. Enamel coating does not. What seemed weird to me is, if you have it enamel coated then wrap it, that does not void their warranty.

I have a coated header and the mounts were starting to melt. I was hoping to stop the melting but it didn't. As far as the warranty goes it was already void. I had the header port matched to the turbo, Socal v3.

This weekend I wrapped the header, down pipe and the new bushings for the motor mounts. Was a bit itchy afterwards.

Sorry to hear about the firewall. That's gonna be a PITA to fix.
