RS25 Review www.rs25.com-
"isc n1 coilover with track spring rates, 564f 450r, is a great addition to my suspension setup. the car drives completely different, it is a much more positive feel with awesome turn in characteristics making it a hell of a lot more fun on those twisty mountain roads and local race days.

at the last autocross i attended i couldn't believe the difference it had made over just sway bars. i felt like my eyeballs were going to fall out of my ears .

the dampening is vary nicely matched to the spring rates, i am able to move it from well under dampened to well over dampened, giving me a great selection for the way the car handles out on the track. being able to change the response of the coilovers throwing weight around at different speeds was able to get me some extra seconds out on the course.

i have been in cars with comparable coilover and in my own opinion this one feels the best. i know the k-sport, megan, and bc are the "same" but i really think this one feels better than all of those.

the day after i got them on i went to get the unlimited alignments at firestone (have had 3 already btw ) first i went in and asked for about 2.5 to 3 degrees of negative camber. got it back with 2.4 on one side, alright thats not bad right, but the other side had 1.2 what the hell was that about i bitched at the manager and he claimed that both sides were maxed. so i went down to another firestone where one of my friends works and we were able to get both sides to 3 degrees. later i dialed i back to 2.4 on both sides after some testing. once i get some better tires the camber will go back up.

i have few new complaints about the car now.
i took me some time to get used to the harsh ride, my ribs were really sore for a couple weeks, and be ready for all the clicks and rattles you have to be maximized.

ajw is also a great vendor once the coilovers shipped the arrived pretty fast. and even though i broke one of the wrenches that is not under warranty trying to corner balance my car he agreed to send me a new one.

here are a few comparison videos of my car at autox with the different setups

so has anyone using these ISCs experiencing the bump noises like those with the BC BR series coilovers? I'm just doing my "monthly" review check on these two coilovers as I am still debating which one to get for my early Christmas gift.

OK, so I normally wouldn't bother, but did you just post a review of yourself? Nice that you sent yourself a fix

Picked up some ISC coilovers at WBM and installed them on my '10 WRX today. Instructions were fairly straight forward but I would recomend doing some up in normal english. I measured the gap between the two small rings on the coilovers so I could get the heights right. I came up with 1 1/2 inches on the back and 2 9/16 in the front to get the ride height about where I want it for autocross. A few concerns I had were with how tightly the brake line was bent going to the bracket. It looks like the tab should be an inch higher or so and the other were that the holes for the upper camber bolt are large on both sides of the strut making the eccentric somewhat useless. I just pushed the spindle in all the way and tightened both bolts as I was trying to get max camber which is the other issue. Camber measures around 2 degrees with the top adjusters adjusted to their max setting as well. I was hoping to run around 3 for autocross so it looks like I'll need some different camber bolts to see if I can get more out of the bottom. seems to drive alright at the 2 degrees though. Just need to get the toe checked to get that back to zero.

Pretty good product all around though. Can't wait to try them at an autocross.

teamwild, with those measurements, what's the gap between tire and fender? or from fender to center of hub?

now if only 06-07 wagon owners can post their height adjustment numbers like teamwild did...

It's at 13 1/2 from hub center to lip front and back. From what I read on in the STU section of Autocross most are running around 14 in front 13.5 in back so that's what I was shooting for but decided to leave the front at the level height and see how it works.

I've run a couple Solo's with them now, the Fingerlakes tour and a local SCCA event at Deven's. The car is handling great although still a bit off the STI's. The 8k front springs seem to be just right but I think I might eventually go from the 6k to 8k in the rear as I have the Perrin bar on full stiff in the rear and the shocks almost maxed out in the rear for adjustment at Devens. It was a bit looser at the tour. Still got a bit of learning to do with the coilovers but I'm getting closer to the STI's localy.

I've had these puppies on for a couple months now and they're just as good as the day I put them on. I've had some knocking noises in the rears but I think I figured out how to minimize the noise. All in all, great coilovers.

Couple pics with them on

Hello everyone,
I just installed my ISC N1 street/sport coilovers last week. I mainly use my car as a daily driver and will be using my car to autocross in the future.

I havent had time to take pics yet of the car with the coilovers but i figured id post up and talk a little bit about my experience.

So far,
I have not had any noises from the coilovers. They ride great! I drive between 40-60 miles a day and the handling and response in steering is incredible. I set the dampening somewhere around 21 clicks from full soft. This has provided a great feel of the road and turns at high speeds feel like no big deal to these coilovers.
NVH have been at a minimum. With big bumps you can definitely tell theres less travel but thats expected from a high performance coilover.
Setting the height of the Coilover was an easy process accomplished with a measuring tape and some time to make sure these puppies were dialed in. I dont have the car set overly low but I feel that I have a great stance on the car with my new wheels.

Install of these coilovers was a breeze (dont forget to soak your bolts with PB blaster or liquid wrench to help). I finished up and had all my adjustments done in about2.5-3 hours. I will post up pictures soon. (hoping to get some body work done this week to complete my list of things to do for the summer)
PM me if anyone has questions. And thanks AJW for hooking it up with a sweet set of coilovers and some stickers!!

Glad you like them, look forward to seeing some pictures!

Updated pics with new wheels

Had to stiffen the dampening to around 30 cause of the rubbing issue in the rear. I might lower the fronts a little and raise the rears in a couple days. These coilovers + wider wheels = unbelievable cornering.
