Default Ebay Wagon Waist Spoiler 2002-2007 WRX

So, I pulled the trigger and finally bought and installed a wagon waist spoiler for my 2006 WRX Wagon.
I was looking for a few months on an authentic JDM one, but I couldn't find one that was in really good condition. Also, apparently they never made a wagon spoiler with the factory color Crystal Gray Metallic (48W).
Japanparts had authentic spoilers for about $450, but none in the color of my car and I wasn't too sure about spending that much on a waist spoiler...

SO, I went to ebay and purchased one color matched from racing_raven for $219.

I purchased it August 6th and it arrived today on August 29th.
Hong Kong to LA within 2 1/2 weeks really isn't bad at all.
Now, time for pictures!!

It was wrapped in multiple layers of bubble wrap

and behold, here it is.

There are some imperfections in the molding such as a few nicks in the fiberglass and tiny bumps, but I'm not too bothered by it.

Included with it are (6) 10 mm fine threaded bolts and (6) flat washers.

To mount, you just have to pull the pop clips located around the edges of the plastic hatch covering so that you have access to the metal hatch.

I screwed the supplied 10mm bolts in with washers and took a red marker to the bottoms so that when positioned on the hatch, I could tell where exactly to drill.

Once you grow the balls to drill into your hatch, all you have to do is tighten down and you're done.

Overall, I like it. It definitely gives a different look in the rear. The color match was great. I think my paint is a bit lighter due to sun and the age of the car, so the waist spoiler is a bit darker than the rest. Only thing that sucked was tightening the bolt down in the small room you have at the back of the hatch. It can be a PITA.

Question regarding these ebay vendors, any import duty cost? I found a carbon fiber version $219 shipped but they have a disclaimer that buyer has to possibly pay for importation taxes and fees if applicable.

Hey sorry for just seeing this .

I thought I was going to have to pay import taxes and fees but didn't have to.

Anyone happen to have a newer eBay link for the spoiler?
Color matters not.
