Seriously though, order a k40 from http://www.etronicsonline.com/k40.htm or http://www.pepperelectronics.com/ant_k40.htm and a CB and you'll be golden. It's saved my butt from more tickets than a radar detector will, and helps in traffic too!

I have to agree about using Cb's for this sort of drive.

I have gotten away using handhelds on most of my SBD's but Im usually doing these drives on lightly traveled backroads. Our groups dont get spread out that much.

This drive is going to have alot Hiway miles and people can get separated in a hurry while doing 70-80mph.

Go for the CB its better

Updated the list again.

The group shouldn't get seperated, but there are some lights and such. I've planned ahead though and there's a few places that there will be pauses to allow everyone to catch up.

Also, I have a few people here at work who are interested and may join us This should be fun!!

Only 18 more days!!!

I have 2 extra CB units, but installing them on the morning on the drive wouldn't go so well.

Just go to a shop and buy one! Enough of us have CB's to make it worthwhile.

Aren't you going to the auto-x on the 28th at Nassau Colessium? If you are, could you bring one then?

Oh, that one, I'll have to see if I can make it. Maybe I'll bring the Outback on the high profile tires to see if I can beat any WRX driving n00bs.

The 22B was at the Subaru Shootout, not to be confused with the Subaru Challenge.

BTW Paul, great to have you aboard, and glad to see that you can make it.
