So your saying you gained 200whp with 5psi? That's pretty thick... You def should find out what a stock 05sti did on the dyno with the same correction factor you used.

Yes, I don't beat the snot out of the car...no flat foot shifting or launching and stock clutch so it has been fine so far.

As far as the motor goes, E85 is cooler and safer for the engine. External gate also helps draw the heat out the cylinders faster. I'm not running anymore then 19lbs so I am confident in the tune that the motor will be ok. You got me I totally photoshopped the graph so I could feel like a boss of bosses on nasioc...SMH haters going to hate... Thanks dude |

Ehh I guess I came off kinda harsh. I didn't say you tampered with the graph those just seem a little inflated to me and the injectors seem like overkill for your setup, unless those flow less than 1000cc which I might have read.

All lies, subarus can't make power with e85. Should have bought a jeep haha. Seriously though mike, great numbers. Now hand those keys over to me

I, unlike most people do all my own work on my car...I definitely do not want to have to take the manifold off again to change injectors. I asked Dave what he recommended and he said he could do the tune on 850cc but if I ever decided to go up from my vf39 I wouldn't have enough injector for that. So that is why we opted for the ID1000cc

Not sure to be honest with you. I filled it and I am going to run it down and see what numbers I come up with. As of now I'm at 3/4 and have gone roughly 66 miles or so. I am trying to drive it nicely but it's hard because it just wants to go...hearing the external gate open is like music to the ears |

Ah, I'm tracking. I was thinking it was a vf39 both times. A tdo4 at about 160 certainly makes sense. Though I'm still curious what correction factor was used. The dyno dynamics Ive been tuned on hits about 280-300 with a vf39, E and all the goodies uncorrected.

Numbers sound about right for the mods, these guys don't know what the vf39/2.5 combo is really capable of.... Very similar setup to what I had planned to run, I'm sure you could trap 110mph easily with that setup!

Lol that's what I'm saying. 110mph trap is good for about 300whp (3200lb car, 200lb driver). 350whp should be good for about 115mph trap speed (same weight).

My 1st time ever at the track, this past Evo vs STI day, I went 13.4 @ 102. I left off of a 4800 2 step and basically side stepped the clutch...had to redeem myself after stalling at the line on my 1st pass haha. I am sure now with my n00b as behind the wheel I could definitely break into the 12s. However I don't think I'll be hitting the track again until I obtain a 6 speed.

Certainly isn't! I went and saw Dave today to drop the head lights off for my mom's scoob he asked what I got for fuel mileage. He said that seemed pretty good! I topped off on the way home, the gauge was reading somewhere between 1/4 and a 1/2 and the numbers were 16.8. Its really not to bad, plus the smile factor obtained from having that much more power kinda makes it all worth it Now if this money tree I planted would grow and shed off roughly 4k I would slap the STI trans in. Then I could really enjoy all that it has to offer |
