I used to have this bike in the 8th grade, until some Mexican kid I knew stole it. Ibthatsrascist

I guess I'll play...
What you'll usually find me on. It's an older pic, different wheels and brakes. I'll get a new pic up in a couple days. Finished building her up a couple hours ago and just finished a shakedown ride. The tape on the bars is there for cutting reference. |

it had a crack on teh downtube but was rewelded and reinforced. The frame i was selling for 145 including Magura HS-33 brakes + Plazmatic spanish fly pads. Alex DX-32 rear wheel with Chris king ISO hub with heavy duty drive shell, and fun bolts ($400) (no grinds) and a chris king headset for $75 a set of DH bar/stem and a more trialsy bar stem setup for 25 each (set) lmk if interested. The great thing about the norco is its a great transision from any xc bike. it has a 0bb rise with a 400mm axle/crown fork so you wont feel too weird while track standing and it makes it easier to learn how to backhop (compared to XC bikes). I've moved onto +20mm bikes cause its more comfy on the rear wheel. Last edited by psyber_0ptix; 06-30-2008 at 05:09 PM. |

Just finished my paint job on the bike. 08 Eastern reaper. I still havent gotten a chance really ride too much this season. Went up to woodward twice now and everytime wind up hurting myself a week before the trip.lol. Last time wast as bad,but still had to confine myself to the foam and resi's and not try anything too crazy. |

Currently my only ride. Bike pictured isn't actually mine, but is the mostly the same apart from the wheels. I have some 8 spokes instead of the multi pictured. Specialized Allez Comp ca. 2004. I agree with the above comment. That has to mess something fierce with the standard head tube angle. Some frames not built for it can break when put that far out of spec, I've seen it happen. That said, I would really like to take your bike off a little double set near my house, it looks like a riot. I kind of wanted to make an urban toy similar to that, but really take it to extremes. I wanted to take a dirt jumping frame with a long travel fork, put some discs and grippy tires on it and then make it a single. I'd just be rolling around town, why do I need 18 speeds or lugged tires? I think it would be a riot. |

In addition to the previous post, which I'm missing the sarcasm/satire/obscurereferencethatisintheresomewhere, are you using the new Trek for time trials or triathlon? I'm leaning towards triathlon since I'm drunk and haven't brushed up on TT rules in the past few years.

Unfortunately I'm in the photo as well! Its an old Giant TCR with a Hed Superlite disc and a Zipp front. Definitely on the cheap side compared to what you see at races, but it works.
