Wonder how long it will last on the front end from all the small debris on the road.

Plasti-dip in pretty strong stuff. it will hold up for months. Only thing is after a while it will need to be touched up or redone.

Are Perrin and Kartboy the only options for "Front License Plate Delete"? Since I'm not planning on doing any internal modifications or racing I feel that it'd be weird putting either name on the front of my Impreza. Which leads me to another question, is there a company that would custom make a plate delete for me (with some custom design/cutout to it)?

Yeah I saw an instructable on that, should be pretty easy to do. I'm just wanting to see what the cost of the other option would be before I decide.

So new guy here...just got a 2012 impreza sedan cvt for the wifey and I am getting the itch to do little things here and there to it...I am an Evo X guy (don't hate me lol) so I've been getting into modding on my ride and want to do some small things to my girl's ride to clean it up...tint, fog lights, navi, potentially mod/upgrade the front grill (maybe gonna wait to see if the new sti grill fits and would look good when it come out), clear out the front headlight amber part, and potentially do something with the rear taillights as well...if anyone has any info on any of the mods mentioned lemme know...Anyone clear out the front headlights yet or do anything with the sedan rear tails?

Where did ya find that second set of bulbs with the bottom NOT glued on? The ones you were able to modify to stop burning out your fuses?

PS: My car is almost at the dealer. I'm on pins and needles.

I bought both sets off of ebay. Here is a link for the specific vendor that I got them from:

When is your car due to arrive?

I'm planning on vinyl wrapping the grill with a black brushed vinyl. Also doing the silver spears on the dash. The silver pieces just stand out too much on the black/grey cars.

Was thinking about doing the same with the silver trim pieces in the cabin too. Do you know if they snap off or are they permanently attached?

Haven't looked, but I was just planning on putting the vinyl on with them still attached. I'd assume they are just snapped on though.

Thanks for that link!! I'm gonna order them and give it a shot.

It was due Apr 15 or 16. It showed up by surprise in the middle of the night on the car carrier and I got a call from the dealer today (the 14th) saying it would be ready for pickup in a few days. The Sport Mesh Grille was out of stock so unfortunately, it won't be on there but I'm super excited to finally get the car nonetheless. When I pick it up that will be exactly 8 weeks from when I placed my deposit. The dealer's estimations were spot on. I'm going this coming weekend to get it since I used a dealer far from home.

I live in Manhattan, NY but the dealer near me was horrendous. Instead I ordered from Riverhead, NY out on Long Island. It was a much better experience.

I finished the exhaust project over the weekend and my Sharkfin antenna should be delivered today. I'll be posting pics and video soon.

Does anyone have any information about this vehicle or who may have sponsored it? Supposedly it appeared at SEMA a while back but I haven't heard squat about any company developing these parts for our car.. I'm mainly interested in the fender flares.

the car looks good but the changes are very subtle besides the spoiler and rims. but the door molding, whatever that is on the front bumper, and the front wheel arches (two-tone or add on). also digging the tint. i wish i could have waited for a white one.

According to SEMAphotos.com it was on the Bushwacker booth (look in the background of the pic above), so those flares, bumper protectors, etc are probably going to be available soon from them... Makes sense if you think about it.

It's funny that semaphotos lists it as a 2011 Impreza WRX, but they also list 2 other 2012 Imp's as a 2012 Legacy, so the source is a little ignorant.

Here's another pic:

Thanks! Upon hearing this I madly started googling Bushwacker and learned that they had did a similar thing to the forester at the 2008 show.. but destroyed the molds soon thereafter and never released or planned on releasing anything similar to the public.. Not promising at all.
