Trip to L48
Anyone need anything hauled down to the L48? I'll be headed to Iowa to pick up some equipment. Have an empty truck on the way down. Likely will have some room in the truck bed on the way up as well.
Should be leaving next week, just waiting on the funds to show, and I'll be back a week or two after that.

I thought to offer this for a split second since I leave this Friday, but then I realized that I drive a light, RWD coupe, so no bueno!
Thanks for your offer, though! |

Stopping in St Cloud, Minnesota, Grand Juction Colorado to make some drops and then Mt Pleasant, Iowa to pickup the equipment. Towing two trucks down now, still have the bed empty though.

I have an orange Subaru 360 near Denver that could use a ride up here. It's 10' long, just over 4' wide, and about 950 lb. It's on wheels and will fit in a long bed with the tailgate down.
How much room do you still have on the return trip? |

Truck is a short box 1 ton. I have a fuel tank in the bed so I'm only working with about 5.5 ft of bed space. I might be making another trip a few weeks later to bring down another truck and I'd have an empty trailer coming back.

May end up being after Tanacross. Working near non stop to get everything ready, don't think I'll have time to get the car prepped and make a run down. It's coming up quick!

I had to google it cause I had no idea what it was even!
Kent I wanted to ask, does it run? The second trip I may have my trailer to pull a truck down and that would be going to Minnesota. I was going to pull back a stack of 3-4 trailers loaded on my trailer (picked up in WA) but I maybe I can stick that car on top of a trailer and just bring one or two trailers back. |

Yes it runs, but the brakes need some serious attention before it gets driven anywhere. It should be able to drive onto a trailer easily. Or up on a sled deck and you can still bring all the trailers?
Here's mine at my friend's house last Halloween: |
