yes. they are located in Nantou city. and never ever settle upon china for mechanical parts. it's just not safe. taiwan is the way to go.
i believe if asked beforehand, they will allow you to enter their premises to see how they test and build their turbos.

Talking about this, do you think that Subaru has a factory tour, for the plant where they assemble the Impreza?
Sti has separate headquarters, right?

from what i know, they only permit organized tours , for example, schools, companies. they don't allow individual to tour the plant. it has to reach a certain number of guests before they will permit.

and yes. STi has a different one. right where i live, 10 mins down the road, it's Car Do Tachikawa. the biggest dealer in Tokyo for subaru. maybe when my car is repaired, i will drop by there and ask for u. and i might organize a nasioc tokyo subaru tour

Ive heard good things about "Arashi Turbo's" aswell. Im thinking about getting this one.
I contacted the the manufactuer about the turbo and they said that the exhaust housing is pratically a 10cm but they call it a 9cm. I also asked whats the lowest they would take on it and they said they would do $790 shipped.

So after using their parts for a few years and buying a couple of their turbo's, I decided to email Kinugawa about a possible sponsorship for me to try out and review their turbo's, parts, accessories, etc. This thread kinda motivated me too seeing how very few people in the states have used or even know about Kinugawa. Most people see them as a "Chinabay" brand when they are far from that.

Well I got an email back a few days ago saying that they could offer me a sponsorship discount. I was so suprised!

Sooooo......Looks like ill be buying quite a few of their products, put them on the subie, and start testing and comparing.

Stay tuned for some Kinugawa reviews!!!

Be nice to get a hold of the "XT" style billet wheels that Kamak is making but in a Kinugawa CHRA. Could you inquire as to when they might be available thru your sponsorship?
Kamak is supposedly the source for a lot of the billet wheels used in aftermarket turbos, love to try one.

Like others here, I've used a lot of Kinugawa/Kamak parts and CHRAs. They've always performed well for me.

I run a Kinugawa td05 20g. Great moderate turbo upgrade from the VF52. Full spool by 3500 rpms and pulls much better to redline than the VF52. Picked up 7mph in trap speed by switching to the turbo over the VF-52. As for reliability I guess we will see. So far so good.

I'm in the midst of rebuilding a TBO 20g, and I will be replacing the compressor cover with the Kinugawa 3" anti surge unit.

Honestly this TBO is not that bad of a turbo. I'm confident its going to perform quite well once I'm done reassembling it.

As soon as its put back together I'll post some pics of it.

Ron such a disappointment. Here I was expecting it to rain up in her. Instead, I got a mean case of blueballs.

<-- Wants to get rid of his Blouch 20g in favor of a Kamak/kinugawa unit either TS or go smaller to a billet 16g...
