Gah, I have a small dilemma involving an EJ20D.

Basically, I'd like more juice lower down, and I'm stuck in how to go about it. I've done searching on the EJ20D specifically and I haven't had much luck at all being a JDM engine, which hasn't at all helped. I have no idea what the compression ratio of this particular engine, which is vital for me to get some idea how far I can go with boost and all that.
Then I've got the decision of a supercharger or a turbocharger.
What would be better for in my position, without pissing around with the compression ratio? A small turbo or a supercharger? How big can I go? How much boost can I run before I strike problems? Does anyone have any idea what the compression ratio is for the EJ20D?
Peak power is 150HP@6,800 and peak torque is 172Nm@5,200 if anyone wants to know.
Cheers.
