Is there any particular reason she wants that specific model?

not sure, but she was very specific to this model and not the others. She knows about the k1 and the k2 but she isn't interested in those. I know crap about this stuff, but I know some of u guys do
do you know of a comparable model that you would suggest for around the same price?
I'll try to get more info.
Keith

edit: This is what she said it had..(so I'm assuming it is inmportant)
Distinguishing Features: 49 keys, octave shifting, 1 pitch/bend and 1 assignable wheel, plus capability for an assignable footswitch controller, velocity sensititve keys, a steel frame and WEIGHTED (important) touch sensitive keys.

K1 & K2 are mini-key/craptastic-key versions. Sounds like the K3 is discontinued, unfortunately... she may have to keep searching eBay or look for studios/artists local to her that may be willing to part with theirs.

I have a Roland A33 that I like, but it's a little bigger (76-key). Dun think it's a steel frame, either. Picked it up for about US$275.

Is this the same one that was looking for a soundcard?
