34 here with an 07 wagon. Stage one at the moment, but that's going to change in a couple of weeks. I have a Cobb DP and a whisper catback on order.

My other love is SVX's. I have a 95 that I refuse to part with. Spouses come and go, but this car certainly won't!

Exactly!!! I drive 500 to 600 miles per week for work. I got the car so that my time in it (the car that is) would be as enjoyable as possible. 35 and loving that little boost monster.

mines stock too, except for the same thing. I wouldn't mind a little exhaust and intake work, that's about it. This 09 is pretty damn fine right off the lot. especially as the air around here is starting to turn cool and dry...damn that turbo loves a nice, crisp morning.

37 years old, father of 3 girls.
Wife can't stand it... 2003 wagon, WR blue with gold wheels...
Actually I'd rather have the car in black with gunmetal wheels, but I love the performance too much to complain!

I'm 31 years old, have wanted one of these cars since they came out, so I was able to finally get my first new car, an '07 TR.

It was stock for about 7000 miles when I then lost a bet to a guy at my work stating that I couldn't keep it stock for a year...

So let project money pit begin: First it was the cobb ap+TB exhaust, CF Rear Diffuser, Front Sti lip, Wrx Limited Leather Seats (worth every penny over the worthless stock tr seats), STI TMIC, Blouch 20G... Tim Bailey from surgeline tuning was able to get me 339tq/329 hp on pump gas. Good enough for me for a daily driver! Here is one video of it on the dyno:

I love the car for the all seasons driving ability. I actually USE the car in the snow/gravel quite a bit as I go up to Mt. Hood often for hiking/photography purposes.

It's def a tin can on wheels so I put a ton of sound deadening on the car... it helped but it's still no Lexus!

Some days it gets old when it seems like everyone wants to race or they think I was actually racing them when really I'm just giving it partial throttle and going through the gears (and minding my own business). It seems people want to race in the dumbest of situations within the city... no thanks!

Future Mods: FMIC, Crawford AOS, Coilovers (researching)..... and I'll eventually get rid of the rear wing, and possibly the hood scoop so it looks even more stock/boring

31- and just got my 09 Prem Hatch with 20% tint all around and SPT exhaust. Stage 2 with COBB dp and some new wheels/tires will be in the works once the stockers are done or I move to where I need snow tires. Also considering sways, endlinks and coilovers further down the road.

32 with an '08 WRX, SPT springs & catback, AP. Had an '04 for a while until the first baby arrived. Baby turned 2 and I got my '08. Second baby arrived in May of this year and we just got a 2010 Legacy about a month ago. Happy to be a 2-Subaru family. The wife is going to hate it when the Legacy aftermarket parts come around...

I'm 40 with a Stg 2 '02 with 45k miles, lowered on coilovers with gunmetal wheels. I got the car 9 years ago and I am sick of the look but nothing else drives like it, I want to get a new car but I don't want anything out there.

I'm 38 (yikes am I really 38?) and have completely stock 06 WRX Wagon with 63k glorious miles on it. I'm married with two kids who love to drive in daddy's fast car. They love the boost almost as much as I do. My wife says she hates my car but she giggles when I hit it hard from second gear while getting on the highway. I wanted one from the first time I saw one in C&D magazine and could finally afford one in 06. Rex has been better than I hoped and still love drive it everyday. Told my wife today I will not get rid of it until we can afford a current generation used M3.

I'm 34 and have a wrx.

When I want to get looks, i drive my 1970 Triumph GT6 and get alot of them.

But when I'm commuting, going to the store, or on a road trip, I prefer to go un-noticed (by other drivers and by police)...I drive fairly fast and would prefer to just blend in rather than getting pulled over because my car "looks fast" or have every riced-out civic try to stoplight race me.

which is why I bought an 09 (after looking at an 07)
which is why I bought the sedan (hatch is too kid-racer for what I want)
which is why my exterior mods are low-key and probably look stock to people not familiar with WRXs....changes are subtle, wheels are non-flashy, etc etc

In short, I like to keep it sleeper. I like it when "guy in the 325" or "guy in the TL" tells me about how their car is faster than mine, just because mine doesn't look fast I guess. I like knowing that I could walk them with little effort, but rarely have the urge to actually do it....

My friends/family also like the fact that I actually have good legroom in the back seat
