Its for real. They dupe these women into thinking that he's made of money. I'm not sure if there going to tell them sooner or later though.

The show's already been taped, so they think they're on a marry a millionaire show. They didn't see the advertisements for it when it was taped 6 months ago because it didn't exist.

Either way, they'll be able to live a good life. If he doesnt make much $$$ then his new wife will just pose for playboy(like survivors, real world, etc.) and do all of these talk shows to make $$$. I'm not gonna watch it though...just wait till the "results" make it to my mailbox

What I meant by $19,000 is what he normally makes during the year at his regular job.

He's a construction worker. What they did was claim that he inherited $50 million. And after 7 episodes he chooses the girl he likes the most (it's not for marriage, just dating to the best of my knowledge). After he chooses the girl he tells her that he didn't really inherit any money, and he's a construction worker. (the inheritance is the only lie he makes)

I can't wait to see the look on the gold-digging girl when she finds out he isn't rich!

I'd seen the ads for this show a few times, but I never really *listenned* to what they were saying until today.

OMG this is going to be funny! I really have to watch now... Fox knows how to exploit people for entertainment like no other network!

FYI: I think all reality shows are pre-taped well in advance... I know when the first Survivor series was just starting up, the naked gay guy was already building his new home on Long Island.

My insider in England (where the same show has been run) states that the guy really is a $$$$$$$. That the $19,000 thing is a lie. After you see how the picked filly reacts, they then tell the truth.

Or so I'm told.

Imagine, network TV with a twist inside a twist

He posted this a while ago...

I just did a search before starting a new thread, saw this was the most recent (if not the first) thread regarding this topic, and bumped it for my use.

Doubtful. Why would he inherit money and then go on Fox?

I'm definetly going ot watch this show.

I say we take bets on what the winning girl will do when she finds out he is poor.

I bet $10 she says "that's ok" while trying to hold back tears. She'll do that to make her not look like a stupid gold digging bitch. Then, right after the show, she will break up with him. THEN, she will try to sue Fox. Any takers

Eric
