What makes you say that? The block was built by Howard's Hotrods (stage 1 "street fighter" block) and w25 heads but stock ej257 castings. Just Manley H-beam rods and 99.5mm Manley pistons

Not saying they are, but to me the heads look cleaner then the SB. Same goes for the valves and spark plugs. Not sure who this Howard is but doing a quick search these are the first 4 reviews i found. If that's the same guy.

Howard moved his so called hot rod shop to an airport hanger in Apopka. He should change the name to Howard's Chop shop. He cut my truck in pieces and took my money for parts and never did the work

Beware of this business.. he is a thief and a liar.. scammed my husband out of thousands of dollars and damaged our car

Howard will take your deposits and go xmas shopping for himself! He has only knowledge of scamming and hacking your car and adding false hours on the w o r k beware!
How involved were you in this build? Did you know what you wanted or just gave this guy a blank check and said "make my WRX fast"?

Sheesh, i had no idea! I bought the car with the motor already in it, so i didnt even pay for the motor build and had no part in it.
