I'd really like to get the center pod but dont want to lose my clock and all that other stuff up there. May just end up getting the SMY and a single A pillar IDK. I like the Prosport Halo series, has anyone dealt with thoose yet?

It's the same as moving below dashboard level...and you really don't have to look far. It's in your peripheral vision you can see what's going on without really looking.

But it's all preference in the end. I prefer this.

Your setup wouldn't work for me either, I have my V1 above my mirror and if I try to look at it without moving my head it hurts my eyes.

Thinking about debadging all but the WRX, with almost 50,000 miles do you think the paint will be too faded around them?

Not with the Pearl white. Or even aspen white. Just buff the area good if you think you see something.

no it's not out of the way or in your face. you can easily see it and its not visible from outside. i HATE when you can see gauges from outside the car like on the a pillar or etc.
holy shat the setup is nice! but i have to disagree on the placement :/ sorry. it DOES seem out of the way and having your gauges be visible from outside is one of the coolest things about having a performance car! lets others know you mean business imo lol and how the fawkkk did you manage to run the wiring up there lol mustve been a p.i.t.a

SMY cluster is perfect IMO. Gauges are right in your face all the time. The plastic feels cheaper then oem but other then that fitment is perfect. I might have jpm coach works have their way with it in the future

see THIS setup is really tempting. let me ask you, did your aem gauges come with their own pod mount? or was it just the naked gauge and you had to buy the smy seperate? if the aem doesnt come with the mount then that makes my decision to by the defi final. sorry to take up so much room with this, i really wanna do this right. and thank you everyone for your input.

Running wires is a joke its so easy. Like I said in my original post. Everyone is so quick to jump to conclusions. When you see it in person your opinions will change.

I usually rack up miles like you guys, but I've been working from home so I'm only at 17k after 19 months. My RSX had 70k in 3 years.

Wires are fed from between the cluster and steering column, so the wires aren't affecting it. It's not sitting flush on the left side for some reason. I'll grab pics asap

The fitment looks great. Did they require rolling the rears? Any rubbing in the front?

IDK about fade but here is a picture to give you an idea how it'd turn out.
