Default Help me get road legal

I recently purchased a 06 Subaru sti with a stage 2 motor and tune from New Jersey but live in New York State. It has a salvage title from a small rear end collision so the state must inspect it to be road legal. It has a stage 2 outfront motor with 1050x injectors and an intake and straight pipe exhaust. I have both cat converters on the way but I have no idea how to figure out the tune. Will I have to buy stock injectors or can I have it tuned to pass emissions? Also I don’t know how in depth state inspections go, so the air pump delete should be hidden enough where they won’t notice if the codes are turned off with the tune. Any help is greatly appreciated!

sounds like a mess.
are they just going to inspect it visually or do they take a reading of the tailpipe emissions coming out of the back too?

if theyre just doing a visual or OBD check you can leave the current tune and put the stock cats on to drive it in for inspection. just stay out of boost.
that way you dont have to worry about changing the tune and injectors and all that stuff at the moment.

if the air pump is missing then that will be obvious and fail.
you'll need an air pump.
i assume they will look up a diagram of all the emissions equipment listed and check that its there and connected.
