Default 05 wrx axles fit my 02 wrx manual swap

So I did a manual swap on my 02 wrx and trans is from a 05 lgt and I’ve been told 05 wrx sedan axles fit is this true ? And also does anyone know the length on 05 wrx axles and 02 wrx axles ?

I was the one who told you it would work. All EJ based 5 speed trans from Subaru use the same case. With one possible exception which was the DCCD equipped JDM STi 5 speed trans. I just haven't been able to see one in person to see any differences.

05 LGT trans used male input shafts to the trans case. 05-07 WRX used male input shafts going to the trans case. If you have a wagon get wagon axles. 05-07 WRX wagons had the same axle length. If you have a sedan get sedan length axles. All 05-07 WRX sedans have the same axle length. Technically 02-04 have the same lengths as well. They just use an axle stud on the trans case and a female input on the axle.

I didn't reply to your last post in the other thread because I have you the information. And there's a bagillion threads out there that discuss the difference between 02-04 vs 05-07 WRX axles and sedan vs wagon length.
