Default Gd radiator hose question.

Those who used the gd rad. Did you have to trim both sides of the upper hose to clear or just one. I just released my upper hose is resting on the fan blade.

I use the GD radiator and i-wire shroud, with Samco GD hoses on a Koyo radiator, no trimming. I do remember on some swaps back in the day we trimmed ever so slightly (depending on what radiator you were using, OE, Koyo, Mishimoto and what block was swapped in) but ever since I redid my swap, no issues at all there.

Re: the fans, I switched to low-profile fans so I don't have that issue, sorry I can't help on that

Trimmed both sides of the upper hose... i put a greddy water sensor adapter in to make it easier... it was tough to put in even using grease but it doesn;t leak... looking at silicone options but will look just as twisted and just more expensive...
