I realize this is a picture thread and not a technical thread but I figured this would be a good place to ask and hopefully get some pictures.

I own an off road fabrication shop and happen to have a set of 17" JK Rubicon wheels and wheel adapters that would go quite well on my 00 2.5rs. My plan is to add Forester Springs/struts and some kind of aggressive AT tire. Having only now stepped into the car world, or more importantly the Subaru world... what would be a good tire size to add to those wheels with said lift?

Hey Joe, did you lose your little side vent things or did you take them off when you started.

How much room do you have at the smallest point? Also, is it street driven, because then you have the speedometer issue too. I would recommend DirtyImpreza.com for your lifting questions a lot larger knowledge base on it there IMO.

For those who did the Forester struts and springs, easy swap? or am I going to have issues?

The fronts were pretty easy no major issues the rears however were a bit harder. Just took alittle more sweat to get them into place.

It's not dirty yet, but here's a couple of shots from his maiden voyage today at a suby meet/drive. Found a pile of dirt in a parking spot, might as well had my name on it. BTW it's the only one on the island!

Cheers!

No issues, remove the sway bar links and you'll have more flexibility and they are MUCH easier to fit.

^

The bolts being hard to remove is pretty typical not just for swapping into Forester

Hey Greg, sorry I was out of town for a few. I take them off during RallyX 'cause they just fly out anyways, lol. Lost one and replaced it (random dirt spot and didn't notice 'till I got home and it wasn't there a couple days later >.< ). I forget, but like $40 is retarded for that little piece of plastic, lol.

Guru, that yellow bug-eye looks BEAST with that set up =D Good propped up shot

In the first pic you demonstrate how despite the lift, your front bumper cover is the same distance from the ground as everybody else. Too funny.
