The almost kind of crazy thing is the new "Guardian Angel" program, where a US military person is randomly assigned (based upon who is there and available) to watch the Afghans in red status whenever a meeting/training event takes place. Yeah, trusted allies my ass.
I say let them stay in the dark ages.

Ahhh it's almost time for me to decide if I want to re-up again or not. I could miss out on future opportunities, because you can do great things in the Air Force, like humping a nuke.
Yes, this happened. Last edited by Smurftastic; 07-31-2013 at 09:18 PM. |

In other news, I'd like some thoughts on the direction I'm going on. Really starting to question something I started trying to force - the new color scheme in the engine bay. I can reverse everything so it's not that big of a deal, but just wanted to see if I was totally insane for feeling like things are looking less clean. Considering going back to matte blue or to a matte black.
Please compare the AFTER pick on the right with the gunmetal bay posted below. Apologies for the cell phone pic on the last one :\ |

Eh, I'd keep the blue. It's clean.

Body color or black. Only way to do an engine bay really.

I'm far from a technician but to me it seems like the trans is behaving just the same during regular driving. The only difference is whether the engine is turning...It's not like I'm running a trans oil cooler. |

I recommend the carbon fiber vinyl through headlight armor. From all the research I've done they have the best vinyl it has a real texture to it, and has a bunch of benefits compared to the 3M stuff. To do the 05 style swap is expensive you're looking at least 600 (if you buy the S203 set from japanparts.com) and 1,000 if you change the hvac over to the automatic knobs it's just a total pain in the rear and way to pricey for my tastes, but to each is their own. Looks like you want the TR center it apparently had the manual hvac. Last edited by spokenlastchance; 08-01-2013 at 12:22 AM. |

has anyone seen results positive or negative from the Cusco Front Power Brace? Do you have to remove the bumper support or modify it?
I hear the fender braces make more of a difference.... |

Fender braces you can tell a difference, the front power brace not so much. You have to trim the bumper skin but no metal needs to be removed.

I went with the TiC fender brace. Best under $100 mod I have done to the car. It's actually quite silly what's in there from the factory.
