Default Swift Springs Spec-R (2015 WRX)

INSTALLED:

Over this past weekend I got to install Swift Spring Spec-R from Kamispeed. These are one of the best mods I have done to my GBP 2015 WRX since I bought the car last year. I give the install a 4/10 or 5/10 depending on what tools you have. Spring compressors can be rented out at autozone for around 55 bucks and you get a full refund when they are returned. If you are going to be installing these by yourself I would recommended using an impact gun.

The 1" drop all around really gives the car a better look and not to mention better performance! Breaking has improved and you don't get that feeling your going to fly out of your front window when slamming on the breaks. Cornering has always been good being we are AWD and with stiffer ride and cornering is great! Now the stiff ride is a give and take you get a more sport like ride but you also feel more of the road which to me isn't that noticeable even with my wife and kids in the car. The car feels much more comfortable driving with more traction to the wheels thanks to to drop. There's no bouncy feeling even when going over small bumps or uneven pavement which is what I was afraid for lowering the car & living in SoCal there's tons of uneven pavement everywhere.

Overall I love these springs! The guys at #SwiftSprings really did their homework building these to fit 2015 WRX OEM shocks. I would highly recommended these to anyone looking to upgrade their suspension without breaking the bank & If your looking for a seller get at the guys at #Kamispeed they'll take good care of you! I'm going to be doing an update once I get my wheels/alignment done. So stay tuned for that! Hope this post helps, feel free to ask questions! ✌🏼️

Has anyone run Swift vs. RCE who can provide a comparison? Ran RCE on my WRX, but thinking of going Swift.

I'm cross-shopping these two springs + Eibachs, just curious is there something about the RCE's you don't like?

Thanks!

Just installed mine a week ago, everything went in quite easy.

So far im very happy with these, These springs are the perfect drop. These ride a bit firmer then stock but still quite comfortable for daily driving. The car handles much better with less body roll now (not like it had much to begin with). Swift springs did a great job with these and highly recommend them!

Just ordered these springs. What is your wheel setup? Did you add LCAs? Thanks in advance.

Car looks good man!! Kudos to you aha, anyhow what's your wheel specs? I'm looking to run these springs and as far as fitment goes, that's exactly how I want my car stance to be. Just curious on your wheel specs.

I know this thread is a little old, but do you have any review updates seven months later?
Considering these springs myself... Do you have any clunking sounds in your front suspension like some people have mentioned with other springs?

Thanks for your time!

Just to get you an answer: those people that have experienced noises/clunking did not install them correctly. If you line everything up the way it is supposed to be you will have no issues. I don't know the particulars just breeze over some threads that mentioned the noise, but if you dig you'll find it just like I did with a search. search for RCE yellow I think it was in that thread.

Any settling? Yellows settle at around 1" or so, if that's the trend, can I expect maybe 1.2" after a couple of months?
